Everything went well for the most part. I wasn't promised a gift card like I see many people were for a refinance. I am an AFGE member and that's the main reason I chose Union Plus for my refi. I think Michael and Meredith were mostly helpful and responsive. Meredith did seem short at times in the beginning. The online processing and docu sign system was great and having a notary/paralegal (not sure which) come to my home for the closing was awesome. I am pleased so far with the process. I contacted 2 other companies about a refinance prior to Union Plus and Union Plus was the most responsive and had the best interest rate.

I closed on my mortgage about a month ago. I received a good rate and closed pretty quickly. The only negative was I would of liked to be kept up to date on what documents we were waiting for. I just received the $500 gift card in the mail as promised. Thank you.

Staff were all very helpful and explained many details all the way. Recomended. One star removed due to never getting the gift card at closing that was promised to me.

I contacted Union Plus and they contacted Rocket Mortgage, then I received a new mortgage. The only negative is the amount of time I had to wait for it to be completed. It finally got done.

They were able to get me the best rate and lowest costs. However I have still not received my $500 gift card for getting a mortgage through them.

Union plus was overall good to work with, but communication was often difficult. I don’t really fault them though, it was in the middle of COVID and they got the job done.
