I bought the Unit 1 Neon helmet. I opened it as soon as I got it and the velcro pieces that hold on the back padding had falling off before I even put it on. This seems like a nice helmet but that should not happen on a helmet that costs over $200. I went out and bought more adhesive velcro pieces and fixed it myself. They need better quality control.

I had one and it's great in a many ways--BUT the brim is attached by a magnet that has come off several times and been lost. Replacements are expensive and the last one didn't even arrive in the post. The only ones available were an ugly colour (obviously many ppl have this problem) Now they're telling me to contact the shipper blah blah... Not worth it; I'm looking for a new helmet.

I bought Unit 1 Aura helmet + photochromic lens & 2 pairs of ligths + mounting almost 6 months ago I find the design of the helmet quite good and good ventilation. I started my experience having the wrong size of helmet, so I have been charged additionally to change size. Fair enough it was mentioned but clearly I made the measurements as required and I fell in the wrong category according to data... Next to that, this helmet is far too heavy, the lens doesn't get to go below the eyes enough to really protect. Additionally, for the cost, I find the product not finished enough (the on/off button impossible to push easily at medium temperature and fingers breaking at winter - 0°C) temperature). And last, the application doesn't accept to pair the full set of products I bought : 1 helmet + 4x lighting... Clearly I wouldn't bought all these additional lightings if I knew that.... Also, the app is complex to use, the user friendliness is low. All-in-all, to me, it's a very costly experience for an average product...

Care don’t order for delivery in the U.K. - you will be charged by fedex customs duty and VAT. That's nearly £60 on an order on top of what you have paid. These are vat zero rated but you are forced to pay it, the company have not responded to my query for over three days now.

The Unit1 Torch is a great backpack that I was really looking forward to receiving. It is a little on the small side and is not a replacement for a larger backpack but a nice, well designed office/work bag. However, the experience was soured when I was adviced by the delivery company that UK VAT would have to be paid onto of a handling charge despite the website and the order form stating tax was included. This was an additional £58 on top of an already expense, all be it discounted item. I did consider refusing to pay and just asking for my money back but I went ahead and paid. Considering I got it in the sale at £200 this made it ultimately more expensive to me than the full priced item in Europe - and the full priced item for the UK would be over £300. This is eye watering and I can not recommend it for this price. Make it £150 shipped to the UK or maybe a bigger version for £200. Finally, if you say tax is included then it should be - as a newish company be honest. I told you of this problem weeks back yet you are still advertising as shipped to the UK tax paid! Another star lost 😔
