Value Added Moving is a horrible company. First, they try to present themselves as a "family-friendly," "veteran-friendly" moving company. They are NOT! They are a BROKER! They will ask you to list out all of your items so they can give you an "accurate" estimate. Regardless of how many items you list, they will come back with a moving quote of aroudn $3,000. Then, when the outsourced moving company comes to move you, they will hold your households goods hostage and tell you the price is now $8,000 -- or $10,000. This is a SCAM! Do not, do not, do not use this company!

I have never dealt with a moving company that has handled a customer situation this poorly. I had an unexpected emergency that required me to cancel my move. My nurture was in a car accident and passed away. - i had to canecle this move. The most important fact is this: this company performed absolutely ZERO services for me. They did not pick up my belongings. They did not transport anything. They did not deliver anything. I CANCELED BECAUSE OF EMERGENCY. They provided no moving service whatsoever. Yet they are choosing to keep approximately $3,100 of my money and are refusing to make any exception. I understand that businesses have cancellation policies and that companies need to protect themselves from last-minute cancellations. But there is a huge difference between charging a reasonable cancellation fee for work already performed and keeping thousands of dollars when absolutely no services were provided. I reached out hoping the company would show some compassion and common sense given the circumstances. Instead, I was essentially told that there would be no exceptions. That is incredibly disappointing. PLEASE HELP

Criminals that stole and looted my house. Kept raising the price. And stole over 200 things. Not counting damaging my furniture and breaking a TV screen. The fake is Thomas Kemp. Fort Lauderdale, Florida. If I had been home they would been arrested and the truck confiscated. The criminal knew my husband had died. Why aren't Criminals arrested. They need to be visited.

They are liar, cheats, thieves, scammers and any other horrible thing you can think of. They lied to get my business and charge a down payment of half the price quoted. When my quote went from $2300 to almost $10,000 at quality assurance check in, I realized this was a bait and switch and I asked for a refund before anything was reserved or any services provided. They refused to refund my down payment. They are liars and the ultimate scam artists all under a cloak of legitimacy. I have filed with every appropriate federal and state agencies, my bank, the police, and the BBB BEWARE!!!!! Jason Evans, Susie Anderson, Alexis ? Evil people

We received an estimate to move our house from Greeley, CO to Opelika, AL for $4,500 after having gone room-by-room and providing an inventory of all the items that were to be shipped. We provided dimensions for the large items (couches, beds) as well so there were no surprises with how many cubic feet we would occupy in the trailer. We accepted the estimate and immediately paid a $2,525 deposit and paid an additional $1,000 deposit the day before the movers were scheduled to arrive. Upon the arrival of the movers, their price quote jumped from $4500 to $12,000, which was an increase of 266% in price. While we were planning on and willing to accept a price increase (our expectations were an additional $1,000-2,000), we were not willing to accept the price nearly tripling and elected to cancel the move. We discussed the situation with customer service, and they were not willing to refund us our deposit. My biggest concern other than losing $3,500 is the fact that I think they were trying to scam us. It appears they were taking advantage of the fact that we have to be out of our house soon and, due to the convenience of the movers already being there, were hoping that we would accept the large price increase. The gross ineptitude on their end with the estimator is what stands out the most. It appears that they have predatory estimating practices in which they purposely underbid their services and then inflate their prices on moving day. We've filed a complaint with the BBB against this company. Please learn from our mistake- DO NOT use this company.

These use multiple companies like Pro Express Moving LLC ,, these are the worst. Use at your own risk and headache. This is the worst experience ever. I would never recommend anyone to use this service. The company will overcharge you extra fees at pick up because you have no option and already paid 3/4 of the money. At delivery expect more charges, because they cannot deliver at the exact location, saying their truck will not turn/ your address is not accessible and you have options of either paying more money for shuttle service or they show your cargo on the street. The service customer care will be yelling at you at the top of their voice and not leave you any option rather than getting your own U haul to haul your stuff from wherever they choose to dump them, or otherwise pay high charges to them to deliver them in the manner you paid for and agreed upon prior. If you do not want to be stressed about your move. Look for another service. Leave these guys alone

Everything is gone lied about price. I'm sure I was scammed at the beginning everything is gone.. Horrible scary company. Run far away

Stay away A-Z Moving and Storage LLC. The price they quoted me wasn't even close to what I actually ended up paying they charger me significantly more than the original quote, no real explanation given. Total bait and switch.
