Hi Greg Miller,
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you’re experiencing accuracy issues with your watch. Please allow us to explain:
Automatic watches such as the Seiko movements we use rely on the rotor and your wrist motion (or a watch winder) to stay powered. If the winder does not provide enough turns per day, the watch may not have full power reserve, which can cause it to slow down or stop.
Additionally, all mechanical movements have a natural tolerance – for example, the Seiko NH35 movement is rated at approximately -20 to +40 seconds per day, which is considered within normal specification. Accuracy can also vary depending on the position in which the watch is stored (face up, face down, crown up, etc.), or if the watch has been exposed to strong magnetic fields (speakers, laptops, phone magnets, etc.).
I’ve also reached out to you via email so we can follow up directly, check your specific case, and provide the best support to resolve this together.
We truly appreciate your patience and understanding, and we’ll make sure your watch runs as it should.
Best regards,
Lucy
