Overall engineering was good. Top wooden rail was too narrow (not as shown on you tube ) top post brackets barely fit. Some holes in posts were too big knock ins didn’t press in the right. Crimping tool Also very flimsy didn’t work great handle fell apart.

Looks good. Installation straightforward tho direction might emphasize drilling perpendicular holes. My only criticism is the price.

The railing is great but the response is sad. Chad started great with me but now has ignore my request in just trying to buy the railing. Avoid him as much as possible. Trying to reach out to another sell person has been a problem too. SAD!

UPDATED - We connected with owners. They stepped up and fully addressed our concerns. There was a manufacturing issue with some of the treads. They sent a craftsman out to repair them (From IN to NH). The stairway looks great - a focal point in our home. =========== We ordered floating stairs and railings for our deck. They were difficult to work with and their communication is poor. I had to track the owner down via LinkedIn to get them to respond to my many phone calls and emails. They kept sending drawings with incorrect measurements. They continued to call me for information when they should have been calling the contractor. They delivered the product late. When it did arrive, the posts for the railings were wrong for both the deck and the stairs. Handrails were the wrong size. They sent pieces we didn't need and didn't deliver parts we did need. They were rude to the guy who was dealing with all their mistakes. The sales person went AWOL after the order and did absolutely nothing to help get things straightened out. We spent an additional $4500 in overages with the contractor with all the mistakes and temporary railings.

To be fair some of this rating might be due to the current pandemic. As the designer on this project Viewrail offers a quality product. I think the quality control from getting from design to final product is somewhat cumbersome. The transitions back and forth from virtual, to real world communication, as regards developing the final product feels disjointed and could use improvement.
