Our mission is to create highly-effective, natural cosmetics that preserve the values and traditions of the Red Yao Women.For over 2,000 years, the Red Yao tribe has lived isolated, high upon the rice-terraced mountains of Longsheng. They developed a distinct culture centered around rice cultivation and hair care. By using the nutrient-rich, Longsheng rice and rituals passed down mother-to-daughter for centuries, the Red Yao women have developed a completely natural method to achieve long, strong, healthy hair that doesn’t grey with age. With only 300 tribe members remaining, we feel it our responsibility to share their story with the world. We work directly with the Red Yao villagers to source their rice, at a premium, to add into our shampoos and hair care products. We use the same Red Yao techniques and rituals, developed over centuries, to hand-make and craft our cosmetics. Due to economic pressures, the Red Yao traditions are vulnerable to extinction within a generation. I was surprised by how well the shampoo lathers. Seriously, you barely use any to make tons of bubbles. I was also skeptical about the conditioner bar. My hair is super dry and I use a ton of liquid conditioner but i barely have to use the bar and my hair is the softest it's ever been. Plus the dry flaky skin on my scalp is completely gone. I've also had minimal shedding since making the switch. I also love the smell so much! Im never going back

I was using salon Matrix Biolage which ever few days gave me terrible dandruff. I have tried all kinds of salon products as well as natural shampoos with the same results if not worse. I saw and advertisement on Facebook and after reading the reviews I decided to give Viori a try. To my surprise when it arrived it was beautifully packaged and smelled amazing. I was really impressed with the lather and how clean my hair felt after the first wash. My hair was softer and shiny with no tangles. Best of all several days later I had no dandruff. I've been using Viori since the end of December and on my second set. I have baby fine middle of my waist length hair. My hair has really grown out since using it and I have a ton of new baby hairs all over my head. I'll never go back to regular shampoo again! I let my husband try it and now he wants his own bar of shampoo :). He told me it smelled wonderful and was really nice to use. My sister and a few friends have tried it and loved it also. I highly recommend and give Viori 5 stars!!!!! Thank you so much for making such a wonderful product :)! Honest review from a customer who loves it!

I have been looking for a healthy shampoo and conditioner due an allergy to sodium lauryl sulfate. I have dermatitis in my scalp and my ends are dry. Like everyone else after 3 washes my hair felt so soft and very shiny. My hairdresser even commented on it. My hair is silver grey and I get so many compliments. I love it!

The shampoo and conditioner leave my hair silky and soft, and the smell, while overpowering in the box, fades to a pleasant fragrance once out of the box. The subscription is handy; the chatbots on the website are not. Overall, a great product.

I spent alot of time looking for a good bar shampoo to reduce the amount of plastic waste in the landfills because even though some bottles are recyclable, not all can be recycled everywhere. Plus I'd read how so much garbage is put in recycle bins that the whole batch gets thrown away. Obviously a bar soap is a solution, but how to choose? After seeing this on FaceBook repeatedly, I decided to research further, and wow, not only did it appear to be a good product but it also supports the Red Yao tribe! Admittedly I knew nothing of the tribe but here's a product that does good on many levels, so I decided to try it. WOW, just wow, absolutely fabulous product! My hair is so clean it squeaks! The winters here in Montana are dry, my hair ends up looking and feeling like straw, but not with the Viori conditioning bar! I have hardly any tangles and my hair just looks so shiny and healthy, as if I just walked out of the salon! In fact, I'm no longer getting my hair dyed as it just looks so good as is and while I cannot speak to the delay of greying, I'm letting my hair grey naturally as it really does look so good. Love this product so much I talked my sister-in-law, Mom, and bestie into trying it, they all love it too, for the same reasons - healthy, shiny, squeaky-clean hair, supporting a tribe, and reducing environmental impact all around!

I was referred to Viori by a friend who was raving about how great it was, how it had helped her with itchy scalp and breakage, not only on her but her young son both of which have curly hair. She was mostly impress with the natural ingredients as she is a massage therapist and only buys natural products. I myself have curly hair along with my 3 kids, two teenage boys and my 6 year old daughter. I ordered the Terrace Garden shampoo and conditioner. I was immediately impressed with the beautiful packaging and the smell! It’s been a little over 3 months since my kids and myself started using only this product. I’ve never felt so confident to leave my curly hair down and my daughters hair shines from miles away and the bounce!!! So many people compliment me on my daughters hair and always want to know what I use. I of course tell them Viori!! I have officially signed up for the automatic membership. Best product for the whole family.

I love Viori’s shampoo and conditioner! I have the citrus scent. The scent is amazing and the bars make my hair feel so nice! I even take my bars with me when I travel because I don’t want to use any other products.
