Wag!Reviews of wagwalking.com

Wag! has been terrific for my 2 pups!! The walkers have all been wonderful, and the one exception to that, Wag! handled immediately and compassionately. I LOVE the ASAP walk for when an unexpected work emergency keeps me later than expected. I can send a walker right away to give my boys a break before I can get to them. And being able to pick preferred walkers for recurring walks is a great advantage as well. They get to know the pups and keep me in the loop all the while.

The only thing about Wag! that I loved is spending time with dogs. The customer service people SUCK and are 100% worthless people. 100%. Pathetic. I walked a dog who had SERIOUS issues.. and they continued to let people walk this dog. Well when I was walking this dog, it ran after a kid trying to attack him. When the dog ran after the kid, the leash was wrapped around my hand and wrist.. this dog legit DRAGGED me through the grass and concrete, almost breaking my hand and dislocating my shoulder. Well in the process of almost breaking my wrist and the searing pain, the leash slipped out of my hands and the dog got off leash. I reported this to wag in hopes that they will remove this owner from wag until they can get the proper training for the dog. WELL wag suspended my account to “investigate” and during the investigation they told me I’d have my account back in a week because they know I did nothing wrong. Well a week later they deactivated my account permanently because I “violated community standards by having a dog off leash.” They are the dumbest people I know and they only care about themselves. They are also liars. I get hurt and had to go to the hospital AND they deactivated me for having the dog off leash. I have proof of everything too. Do not work for them. Do not work for them. They cannot comment or reply to this review and say this and that when I have proof of everything and I’ll be glad to share it on every social media platform if they want to continue to spread lies and only care about themselves and money.

Wag! has some serious problems to deal with. If you schedule reoccurring walks in advance, you get a discounted rate for those walks. The problem: if the walker does not show up or cancels (this happens very often), Wag! will have to find a new walker. You will be charged the full price of the walk, and Wag! will do nothing to notify you. Customer support is atrocious. They are not only unresponsive but when you do get a hold of someone and request to speak with a supervisor, they say that the supervisor is on another call. They also claim that they can not share the name of their supervisor or when they'll call back, and won't guarantee that you will get a callback. I have requested to speak with a customer support supervisor half a dozen times, and I have never gotten a response.

I seriously love wag! I have an injured knee and can’t go on long walks with my dog. But knowing that I have this awesome service is great:)! Especially there awesome walker Lyndie!!! She makes me feel so comfortable and she is so wonderful with my dog:)!

Always a good experience with every walker

VERY UNRELIABLE service. Walkers in my area continuously cancel on short notice, only to be scheduled with another walker who then cancels as well. Customer service is little help and only offers $5 off a walk when this inconvenience continues to occur and complaints continue to have to be made. I was contacted by a customer support representative who asked me to give wag another chance and apologized for the repetitive issues with canceling. I decided to give it one more chance and my walk scheduled for last night never showed, never canceled, never notified me of any changes, and the app didn’t even keep record of this. It was as if the walk was never scheduled, but I had proof of the walk being confirmed in my text messages. I then have to reach out to them to point out this problem rather than them notifying me and fixing it. It is extremely unreliable and unacceptable to not even be notified of a walk being canceled so that I could make other arrangements for my dog. He was then never taken out and I didn’t even know because Wag did not notify me. It wasn’t until this issue, after many many others in the past that they offered me a free walk. SO UNRELIABLE

I have found the walkers to be very loving toward my dog, and of course have a few favorites that I rely on. It is nice to know my dog sees a couple familiar faces and not someone new each time.

Absolutely love this service. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with all walkers!
