My pup looks forward to his weekly walk with his favorite walker, Veronika. She’s great with my dog and is always on time and dependable.

I use Wag multiple times per week for dog walks. The service is excellent and I'd highly recommend it to anyone in need of planned and on-demand dog walking services. The app is very thorough in showing you the real-time path of the walk, as well as when the dog has done any business. After a walk, you get a "report card" and can rate the walker and add a tip. The value-add here is high, so I am incentivized to continue using the app. Additionally, you can "prefer" walkers and have the app request your preferred walkers before reaching out to the larger pool of walker. In the one instance where I did have an issue with a walker (who walked the dog for 7 minutes instead of 30 minutes and then lied about it), Wag customer service was extremely helpful: they completely refunded me, blocked the walker, and later followed up about it. The only downside was that it was hard to find their phone number (and their AI chat app was useless), but once I did I spoke to a helpful human right away. I will also note that I pay for Wag Plus, which is $15 per month and saves me about $90 per month in fees and discounts. I haven't used Wag for services beyond walking, but I would be inclined to do so given my positive experience with walking.

My experiences up to now with all the Wag Walkers has been very satisfying. I am happy that each wag walker that has showed up has treated all the dogs in my household very well. They have all taken great care with our dogs. I am grateful for this service and it has been there each time we needed it!!!

During the process of signing up to be a dog walker, I was advised I could set my own rates. I was requested to add 5 endorsements from family and friends. I would NOT recommend doing this, your family and friends will be pressured into spending money to "super endorse" you, with no clear benefit. Then, be bombarded with spam emails. I'm extremely embarrassed I asked my loved ones to do this. I paid the $39.95 background check fee to complete my sign up (this fee can vary based on demand and is not actually the cost for Wag to perform the background check, last year it was $60), once it was approved I could finally see pricing and availability, which was abysmal. Also to my surprise, you CANNOT set your own prices, after contacting support they did show me the hidden way to set your own prices, however you are then excluded from making offers to pet owners. So essentially, you cannot set your own prices. The max I could charge for a walk was $9. Maybe that wouldn't be terrible, but there is next to no demand in my area. Which Wag is very clever about hiding from you until after you have paid. I contacted support with my concerns, and requested a full or partial refund based on being misled before sign up. I was told the fee is in the terms and conditions and not refundable (not addressing any of my other concerns), not only that, my request to speak to a supervisor was denied and I was blocked from responding further, with none of my concerns addressed. If this sounds like a scam to you, I think you're onto something. Wag is a dying company and knows exactly what they're doing. Unless you are referred by a Wag Walker who can confirm the availability in your area is good and are okay with them taking 40% of your pay, do not fall for this. I feel completely violated and ripped off.

Goofs work here. I requested a booking and sitter didn't respond or tell me he wasn't available, Wag sent it to another sitter that I did not allow to do. CS spoke over me with scripted dialog and had no supervisor to speak to. Credit card info will be deleted in 5 days. STAY AWAY. Rover is much better.

Went to Rover , put in a few little details about myself and my dog, and what I was looking for and then I was able to scroll through the potential sitters. Went to Wag and after 15 minutes I gave up! They want so much information just to be able to see the potential sitters, and then they ask you to give an CREDIT CARD and how much you’re going to TIP !!… Before you can even see what sitters are available. No thanks.

Wag is good. But what makes it that way is the dog walker or companion as it is. They are the ones that make WAG the company it is. 😀

Kind, attentive, gave me updates and that helps to feel at ease. Will definitely use again.
