A member of our tour was unable to…

A member of our tour was unable to attend due to illness, however, there is no option for single member refunds without rescheduling the entire tour and losing significant funds. We did not take the "promised" walk through private hallways which was the entire premise of this tour. An equivalent substitute was not offered. The tour guide was knowledgeable with a bit of snootiness when asked questions. Tour guide was too focused on pushing the group through and even commented on the need to finish as she had to be in another distant town in a short while. Although the content of the tour is beyond compare, I would not repeat the experience nor recommend it to others as the tour owner's charges are ridiculous and gluttonous -- which are aligned with all other tours offered at the Vatican. I hazard a guess that the Vatican charges hefty fees to the tour companies "for the privilege" of access.

As noted on our website, starting December 2024, access to St. Peter’s Basilica may be limited due to the Vatican’s Jubilee Year 2025, which includes special events and ceremonies. These closures are determined by the Vatican and are unfortunately beyond our control. Because the Vatican requires us to purchase tickets under specific names in advance, we are also unable to provide next-day or partial refunds for single participants outside of the terms and conditions, as this ensures access and availability for all guests.
