It’s interesting to track sleep, hrv and how various activities, from breathing and meditation to various more active activities, affect my hrv. More information on how to improve hrv would be extremely useful. I’ve used the free version and now have the paid version.

There are a lot of good points for this app, especially the comprehensive information reported. But also some short comings. The biggest problem is that it relies on heart rate measurements from Apple Watch for all exercise statistics, and it frequently loses this signal during vigorous exercise so the whole session ends up not being recorded. I’ve gone back to the Apple health app for exercising, because it records time, motion, and distance as well as heartbeat to record stats. Also, I think some of the cardiac stats reported are difficult to trust since they involve interpolation from relatively few actual data points — heart rate and variability — to infer complex parameters. I also get tired of the app telling me I fell short of my goals when in reality it simply failed to record them. And I feel it fails to integrate information over time but rather gives health stats based mostly on immediate measurements. Would be great if it could give a longer term perspective. Nonetheless, I’m a lifetime subscriber and feel that overall it was money well spent, considering the alternatives.

The Apple Watch can occasionally lose the heart rate signal during intense workouts, which may cause gaps in data, so wearing it tighter or starting an Apple Workout can help. If issues persist, please send us a bug report (Menu → scroll down → Report a problem) from the app with screenshots from Apple Health and Welltory so we can check it on our side. Our metrics are based on validated HR and HRV models, but data accuracy depends on signal quality. We’re also working on improving long-term trends and data visualization to give you a clearer view of your progress over time. Your feedback is invaluable and helps us make Welltory better for everyone.

I love the app, it has great potential but the number of notifications are crazy. This morning I woke up to 5 in about 10 minutes and yesterday must have had at least 20. It’s counter productive and overwhelming. Instead of helping, you are bombarding me with information. Less is more!!! I have had to turn off all notifications which is also pity but can’t take this constant bombardment

This is a great app, with useful information about the state of your body’s health. However, it frequently freezes both in my phone and in my apple watch. For some reason, there are times I can’t grt an accurate reading even tho I don’t move at all. I think this is a connectivity issue.

I find the activity tracker unresponsive. It will stall out and not change with my pulse for even 8 minutes. I have to end session and start again. Other times the pause signal comes on and I have touched nothing..agian I try the resume button and get no responce. On the front dial I have two timers and no distance.

I actually like the app. So much so that I paid for a premium, to have a bit picture, not to worry about the readings. However, the app keeps disconnecting from my watch, logging me out. Of course, I only saw a few weeks after the fact. It happened for half of the premium subscription. Complained, nothing happened. I cancelled the subscription, and support guy replied stating he was happy that the problem was sorted.

We’ve only recently made ourselves available here, so our reply comes late. Connection drops between Welltory and wearables can sometimes occur if permissions in Apple Health reset after system updates or logouts. Unfortunately, the app can’t automatically reconnect when this happens, which might explain why data stopped syncing. We’d love to look into your specific case and make it right.
