We use What Chimp for customer communications. It's currently a very good and cost-effective solution for small businesses. There are a few things we're still struggling with (for example, how to disable bot replies for all message types), but the service is still good.

We were using Gallabox earlier for our coaching institute but their bot builder was so limited, like you couldn't really customize the flow properly for different types of queries. Switched to WhatChimp mainly because of the drag and drop chatbot builder and it's actually flexible enough to handle enrollment questions, fee structure, batch timings, all of that. Students message at all hours so the bot takes care of most things before our staff even sees it. Setup took maybe a day with some back and forth but nothing too painful. Would have switched sooner if we knew about it honestly.

We do a lot of WatsApp broadcasts for new skincare drops and WhatChimp makes it super easy to just set up a compaign and push it out. Read rates are crazy good compared to email, like 80%+ on most sends which honestly surprised us at first. Been about 4-5 months now and its become part of our daily routine at this point. Analytics dashboard gives you everything you need without overcomplicating things.

After using it for a while, it has become one of those tools we do not think about much. It just sits in the background doing its job. We log in, talk to our customers, log out, and things feel under control. That is exactly what we wanted from a platform like this.

I love its ability to create chatbots that don’t just answer questions but actually feed structured data into our systems. For one of our campaigns, the bot asks three qualifying questions, checks the answers, and then sends everything through a webhook into n8n, which assigns a salesperson and sends an internal Slack alert. From the outside it looks like a simple WhatsApp chat, but backstage it’s doing the work of two people.

We mainly needed something to handle support queries from our Shopify store and this did the job well. Order status, refunds, delivery updates – all in one thread instead of scattered emails. I do wish there were a couple more “ready-made” flows for ecom so I wouldn’t have to think about the logic, but once we set them up they’ve been running fine.
