We searched our customer records, payment history and support inbox for your name, and we could not find any WhatChimp account, payment, support ticket or conversation linked to you. As far as we can tell, you have never used WhatChimp. We also know that Andrei Popescu is one of the most common names in Romania, so we checked carefully for anyone with a similar name or email. There was no match. Put together, a review with no customer behind it, no details of any experience, and one of the most common names in the country, we suspect this may have come from a competitor using a generic name to hide their identity. We cannot prove that, and we would be happy to be wrong, but it is why we have asked Trustpilot to verify this review. If you are unsure about us, the best test is to try WhatChimp yourself. You were excited enough to sign up, and the very first thing you hit was a locked door. That is not the welcome we want anyone to have. We looked into your account to understand exactly what happened. You paid for the Basic plan through our special offer page, and your account was created straight away. But because the checkout did not ask you to set a password, and password reset needs a verified email first, you were stuck in between. You are right that this flow is confusing, and you are right to call it out. Here is what happened next, so anyone reading can see it in full. You contacted our support team a few minutes after signing up. Our assistant replied within seconds, and a member of our team manually verified your email the same day and confirmed your account was fully active. Your payment was never kept without giving you access: your Basic plan is active and ready to use right now, with nothing lost. Your feedback has also gone straight to our product team. Paying before setting a password, and the email verification step that followed, is exactly the kind of friction we want to remove so that no one else has to go through what you did. We need to address the central claim in this review head on, because it is false. Our reviews are not fake, and no customer has ever been asked to leave one in exchange for account access. Calling the honest feedback of real customers, many of whom name the staff member who helped them, fake is both wrong and unfair to the people involved. It is also worth noting that Trustpilot's own guidelines prohibit incentivised or coerced reviews, and it actively investigates and removes reviews that break those rules. Ours are here because they are genuine. We maintain complete transaction and activation records for every customer and will gladly share them with Trustpilot. Reviews are requested only after a customer's setup is finished and they have told us they are happy with the service. Activation has never depended on a review, and there is no step in our onboarding that asks for one. Thank you for the detail, and we're sorry this took as long as it did to resolve. Your refund has been issued in full. On the billing point, it helps to explain our setup. Payments are processed by Stripe, and cancellations happen in the Stripe customer portal directly rather than through our own interface. Once a subscription is cancelled there, Stripe stops it at source and we cannot charge that subscription again. That is deliberate on our part, because it puts billing control with the customer rather than with us. The link to that portal is available in three places: the footer of our website, the email we send when you subscribe, and our AI chatbot, which shares it the moment you ask. A support ticket is the fallback if none of those are convenient. Because of how Stripe works, we'd like to see exactly what happened on your account rather than leave it unexplained. Email [email protected] and we'll send you the full billing and cancellation timeline from Stripe, so you can see every event and confirm nothing remains active. On Meta, WhatChimp is an official Meta Business Partner and works on the WhatsApp Cloud API. The account requirements Meta sets for Cloud API access are documented in our FAQ, as they apply to every provider on the platform and are not something we impose.
