Wild Idea Buffalo is unlike any other meat company. We began with a vision of actually improving the eco-system of the Great Plains. Our buffalo are raised on the wide open spaces of South Dakota where they eat only the native grasses beneath their feet. They spend their whole lives roaming freely on thousands of acres, and never see a feedlot or slaughterhouse. The result is better lives for the bison, the restoration of over 100,000 acres of the prairie, and sweet, delicious red meat that is actually good for you. Not such a wild idea after all!

Ordered the starter bundle package. Knew from the time that I placed my order when I would receive it via FedX. Arrived as described and completely frozen. Cooking instructions came with the package or there are recipes available on the website. Have only had a chance to try the burgers and they were delicious. Can't wait to try more of the products!

From speed of shipping and the product itself everything is five stars.

My order was handled promptly. Shipping was as promised and the meat arrived still solidly frozen. Yesterday I served 17 of us with the 10 lb. prime rib roast which was done perfectly and with plenty of leftovers. All raved about the meat! I used the suggested rub and roasted on onions and celery as suggested. Results: tender, delicious and beautiful slices. It was a special treat. Thank you for helping to make our Christmas celebration a huge success!

I ordered a gift online for my friend and then realized that I wanted to amend the gift. I called Wild Idea Buffalo Co. and spoke with a very helpful person, who revised my gift correctly per my wishes. She also amended my credit card appropriately to reflect the correct purchase. I was very impressed that the transaction was handled appropriately and my friend's gift arrived as promised. By the way, my friend loved the gift and I loved the excellent customer service from Wild Idea Buffalo Co. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Loved the items I ordered. Tried a variety of buffalo...two types of snack sausages, breakfast sausage, and bacon. So far have tried only one but it was delicious. Packaged very well and the package arrived on time. Very happy overall with the service.

I ordered on the 14th. Was told I need to change address on 17th. So I did come to find out it was sent to the address they said I couldn't use in the first place. It didn't make it in time for Christmas even with a 10 day window.. I order from these guys as a gift. I will now be taking my business elsewhere

Hi David, Thank you for your recent order. I'm sorry we were unable to get your order shipped to you in a timely manner. We are happy to either give you a refund or reship the package to you. Even though Christmas is a busy time for us and FedEx, we strive for excellent customer service and we would like an opportunity to make it right. We look forward to hearing from you. Easy ordering. I am guessing the product got to the recipient because I have not heard from them. I just wish I had requested the free steak. I would have loved to try it myself…I will be ordering some for myself in the near future.

The only red meat I eat is buffalo. I have to drive an hour to the only store around that sells it. Needless to say, because you deliver, I took the chance on your company. I couldn't be happier!! Not only does the meat taste great, but it arrived on time and packed so perfectly! The size of the "steaks" are a bit small, but that's really a moot point at this time! And yes, I will be purchasing more, including a heart for summer barbecuing!
