I can no longer upload new photos and can’t remove old ones without paying a subscription fee that is substantially larger than the pennies I get on sales. So the platform is frozen for me. The return on most photos is not worth the time it takes to upload them. If the subscription were less expensive it would be easier to justify, as I do get some sales and exposure.

I worked with Wirestock for some time, and most of my illustrations were accepted without issues. Their team was responsive and always replied to my emails promptly. when I applied for the job, it wasn't clearly stated what my illustrations would be used for. I had to ask directly to find out that my images were being used to train AI models, which made me uncomfortable. This lack of transparency felt like a breach of trust. I understand that AI is becoming more prevalent in the industry, but artists should have the right to know in a clear way how their work is being used and to opt in or out of such practices. While I needed the income, I ultimately decided to stop collaborating with Wirestock because I couldn't support a platform that didn’t prioritize ethical standards in its dealings with contributors. For me, trust and respect for creators' rights are non-negotiable. I hope Wirestock addresses this in the future to rebuild trust within the artistic community.

I have the most sales on Wirestock than any other platform but 90% of them are less than $1.00. The site provides exposure to several different sales outlets but they do not produce a lot of profit. It is a good platform to sell some stock photos but not to make any real money. The administration of the site is kind of hit and miss. If you can't figure it out the staff will try to give you some help. From what I have seen there is only email from well meaning techies that I find hard to follow. I need plain english. In addition there is not comprehensive documentation in one place. A users guide in everyday verbiage would be great. Overall it is not a bad platform to sell some photos but I don't see anybody making any real money.

I've been using stock agencies for 10 years. Wirestock is the most convenient one. Easy submission is my favorite feature. I dont need to write keywords and i can do easy submissions.

Been a paying member for over a year. I can appreciate them trying new ways of submission caps and challenges, they might not have it right yet, but they seem to be figuring it out. Also love not having to keyword and submit my photos individually anymore.

Nice company and nice communication

I didn’t know a website like this existed but they replay and they are helpful and they have work opportunities for artists I couldn’t ask for more tbh

It was really a good idea, the problem is that now it is a non free service.
