Frequest exponential price increases. Our bill went from $99/mo, to $ $200+/mo, to $400/mo, and finally over $800/mo. for ONE job posting. They are claiming the pricing is based on the size of your firm and are counting our independent contrctors (who we rarely collect revenue from) as employees! I tried to reason with them on this and the rep was rude, unhelpful, and not very intelligent. Don't bother. You can run ads on Zip Recruiter, Indeed, LinkedIn etc, avoid surprises, and pay less. The value is no longer there.

Account managers are useless and add no value. All escalations and requests are ignored. Very buggy integrations, API is not stable, frequently have data drop-off and errors. The product team has no proper roadmap and user empathy or communication plan. They change features without any user updates, which breaks existing workflows without giving advanced notice. The reporting feature is very very bad. When you click download, you might expect to get a file download but they actually send you an email 10 minutes later with another link to download the report! Ridiculous. Thinking of switching to TeamTailor instead once this subscription is up. The TeamTailor AM said that they would provide full support to migrate all Workable data over to the new ATS.

The tool is not user-friendly. It lacks many key functions, is slow, and makes collaboration difficult. I would never consider inviting hiring managers into the system. I’ve only used it for three months, but I’ve worked with TeamTailor at other companies, which is far superior in comparison. Workable’s customer service has also been very poor. Overall, the platform creates more problems than it solves. On top of that, it was not possible to switch from an annual subscription to a monthly one once you were locked into a yearly plan, something I find completely unreasonable. I wouldn’t recommend this platform. Unfortunately, we’re stuck with them for one more entire year. Can’t wait to get rid of it!

I posted a job. When I signed up I the plan said it would only charge for when I had an active job. Once I had finished recruiting I took the job off live. However I was still charged. I was told it was because it was I had not archived the job. It's clear to see I have not used the service in over a month, but they will not refund because I didn't pick it up for a few weeks. Happy to pay for a service I have used, but I made best endeavours to take the job off the websites and I did not use the service so I find charging for a clear misunderstanding just unethical.

I have just signed up to Workable with big hopes. I got utterly disapointed with its complicated UX. I literally did not know what I am doing there. Pricing was very confusing as well. Then they sent me email that they are unable to post our job ad anywhere, without explaining reasons why and how to fix the issues. I gave up using with within 5 minutes. Workable idea is wonderful but they desperately need to fire their product managers and UX designers, and hire more talented ones. It's pity their whole potential is wasted with this terrible UX. Two stars only due to their potential (and for being a Greek company)

Generally speaking, it's not that bad. The UI is more painful than competitors like Smart Recruiter or Recruitee, and there's something in the user experience that seems to mean that within 5 minutes of using the tool you end up with 10 open tabs. That said, it works. A major new issue is the fact that legacy issues don't seem to be being fixed, they're being resold to the customers as add-ons... Referrals don't work properly? He's a 5 grand referrals add-on. Requisition forecasting doesn't work? Here's a 5 grand forecasting add-on. I understand that businesses need to make money, but there has to be a middle ground on this where customers aren't left feeling they've been oversold a product that won't improve unless they fork out more money on it. If I'd been able to spend over 15 grand on an ATS, I'd have probably gone with something like Lever.

Clunky interface and hard to find what I'm looking for. Search is poor too.
