X-Bows: Solving the Problem at its Root.X-Bows was created to address a silent public health crisis. After analyzing extensive medical literature connecting traditional keyboards to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, our founder, Dr. Sig, realized the only way to prevent these injuries was to redesign the tool itself. He developed X-Bows to address the problem at its root: the unnatural angle of the wrists forced by standard layouts.Unlike traditional "split" keyboards that require learning a completely new way to type, X-Bows features a unique cross-linear radial design. This naturally aligns your wrists and fingers without forcing you to relearn muscle memory from scratch. Whether you are a software developer or a writer, our goal is to extend your career by protecting your most valuable tools: your hands. Our Commitment to You We are a team of innovators dedicated to improvement. We have heard your feedback regarding support, and we have taken action. We recently overhauled our software hub, expanded our user guides, and renewed our focus on customer care to ensure you have the help you need.A Sustainable Future We believe in protecting both your health and the planet. Since August 2023, X-Bows has committed 0.5% of all revenue to carbon removal initiatives.Thank you for typing healthy with us.

Good price, good quality, fast delivery. Just got my second keyboard from X-Bows, extremely happy with it.

Great product, delivered without any trouble. I've bought 3 now over several years, for home and work, and would buy again.

This is my second x-bows keyboard with Mac layout. I have used them since the early Kickstarter version. That still works very well, but now I have the Knight with hot-swappable switches. I use the silent brown switches and generally, I am very happy with this keyboard.

Hi there, Thank you so much for being with us since the beginning! It is incredible to hear from an original Kickstarter backer who is still typing with us today. Moving from the original model to the Knight with Silent Browns is a serious upgrade—those switches are perfect for the office (or just late-night typing without waking the house). We truly appreciate your trust over the years. If you ever need fresh keycaps or just want to chat about your setup, we are here for you. Type healthy, The X-Bows Team

I have tried many different keyboard types over time. For a few years now, this search is over. The X-Bow is the perfect blend between a regular und a fully bent or split keyboard. The thing I love most is the additional shift and control key that makes use of my quite versatile thumbs. I never understood why space needed to be that wide. The thumb can do so much more. I also love the bigger key caps for keys that take longer distances to travel to, e.g. backspace, but also 0, 1, -, ~ and Alt. This makes the far away keys much easier to hit. The fact that this keyboard is not too bent makes it also usable for one hand use in combination with other input devices, pens and mouse. This is the perfect blend for me.

Hi Stefan, You absolutely nailed our design philosophy! Our goal was exactly what you described: to fix the wrist angle and activate those 'versatile thumbs' without forcing users to relearn typing on a complicated split board. We also love your point about one-handed use with a pen or mouse. That is a huge benefit for designers and creatives that doesn't get mentioned enough. We are honored that your search for the perfect keyboard is finally over. Type healthy, The X-Bows Team

I bought the Nature Qmk keyboard on 2022-08-16, I'm a programmer and I had forearm and wrist pain. It took me about a month to accustomize myself to this new keyboard layout (US is not my native layout but it's better for programmers). My previous keyboard was a Microsoft ergonomic one with keypad on the right. It was a giant leap for me: different layout, no numpad, different keys arrangement... but I saw the pain gradually vanishing, and I really love the programmable keys via the simple qmk Web interface. It's such a joy now using it every day at work and at home. The only downside if you are a programmer like me is that some symbol keys are a bit far to press when needed, but that's somewhat easy to overcome if you want (just use qmk config website). I bought this keyboard because it was the only one with a good price range to start with, other competitors costs about twice! Note: I bought 2 keyboards before the fuss happened some time ago (just look in the r/xbows subreddit) and I had no trouble at all, the company sent a mail about a week ago stating they had a fraudolent staff member screwing thair business and it should be resolved now. I really love this keyboard and I hope they will continue to sell it in the future.

Hi Alberto, Thank you for this incredibly detailed feedback! Hearing that your forearm and wrist pain vanished is the single best thing we can hear. That is exactly why we build these keyboards. You are spot on about the QMK programmability—it is the best way to solve the 'reach' issue for symbols. Many of our programmer users create a specific 'Coding Layer' that puts brackets {}, pipes |, and slashes / right under their home row fingers so they never have to reach far again. Most importantly, thank you for acknowledging our recent transparency email. It was difficult to share the details of those internal challenges publically, but seeing long-term customers like you stand by us makes it worth it. We are thrilled to be back on track and serving you. Happy coding! The X-Bows Team

There is a learning curve on these keyboards, however as someone who has owned many economic keyboards over the past 25 years, this is better than some far more expensive options. Wrist pain and numbness from CTS greatly reduced and typing speed is not fast as ever. I own two now

Hi Nick, Thank you for the 5-star review! We often tell people the learning curve is an investment, but it is much more powerful coming from someone who has tried 'many ergonomic keyboards over 25 years.' We are thrilled to hear that the X-Bows has helped reduce your wrist strain and numbness. That is exactly why we built X-Bows. Thank you for trusting us enough to pick up a second unit! Happy typing, The X-Bows Team

Their keyboards are amazing, my joint pain went away in just a couple of weeks and now I can't work without it. Simply amazing!

Hi Santiago, Hearing that your joint pain vanished is exactly why we do what we do. You also highlighted a very important point for new users: it took 'a couple of weeks.' That is the magic window where the muscle memory clicks and the ergonomic benefits really start to kick in. Thank you for sticking with it! We are thrilled that you can't work without it now. Best regards, The X-Bows Team
