YardzenReviews of yardzen.com

I hired Yardzen about two years ago after buying a house with pretty boring, tired landscaping — basically one tree and a few worn-out bushes. From the start, they really listened to what I wanted and were open to back-and-forth until the design felt right, instead of just handing me something generic. What stood out most is how useful the deliverables have been long-term. I still go back to my designs regularly — the renderings from multiple angles, the blueprints, and the shopping list make it easy to pick up right where I left off ( I didn’t have the budget to implement everything at once). They also connected me with landscapers, which honestly was huge for me, since finding someone reliable to actually do the work was something I worried about. Would recommend to anyone starting from scratch with their landscaping.

Working with Yardzen has been a pleasure. The onboarding process is very thorough and the design process moves quickly! We have been very happy with our designs and look forward to implementing the work scope. I highly reccomend the premium package as it does allow for the most revisions, HOWEVER in my opinion if you prepare and submit all ideas, inspirations and set parameters and budget the revisions may not be needed as the designers are good at pulling it all together cohesively. Do the prep work and you'll be able to relax and look forward to seeing the designs come to fruition in 3D. I would recommend this company and will work with them again should the need arise.

I bought a whole yard package and used none of it. I had better luck with ChatGPT. It was easy to get started and get your images, videos and inspiration photos submitted. When had my initial call before I purchased I told them that the front porch design was the main reason I was getting a design. When I had questions about their porch design they told me to talk to my contractor and that those kind of structures weren't really their thing. If it had been they would have known that the project they presented with the porch they designed was going to be considerably out of budget from the porch alone. I re-designed something doable with ChatGPT. The measurements were not accurate in the front or back yard. My back yard is small and they created 3 levels that wouldn't even be feasible. I didn't get all the edits I asked after the first set of designs. Most of the contractors were from an hour away. The fuel fees and travel time alone would have increased the budget They people I interacted with were lovely, but I think overall using Yardzen was a waste of money.

The Yardzen team was incredible to work with! They were friendly, fast, collaborative, with a great design eye and technical knowledge! They took our dream ideas and brought it to reality with beautiful design renderings. We now have the blueprint for our dream yard and are excited to get the building phase started soon.

Very responsive to communications and the system was easy to use.

It was really easy to upload pictures and relay information on what we were trying to do with our yard. Being able to do a "talking video" and share inspiration pictures helped to get my ideas relayed in a way that made it easy to work with our designer - he pretty much nailed the design the first try, and we only need a few minor tweeks.

Great team. They are so quick to design, respond, and overall have been wonderful in our entire experience. I am thrilled to get started on our backyard!

Great team. And stellar design. Practical and on the mark!
