Mr. Krit,
First and foremost, we are truly sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your moving experience. We understand how stressful and overwhelming a long-distance move can be, and we sincerely apologize for the frustration and concern this situation caused you.
After carefully reviewing your file, we would like to provide some additional context regarding the pricing changes you experienced.
Your initial estimate was based on the inventory provided at the time of booking, which consisted of 10 items and 63 pieces. To help prevent unexpected costs, we conducted a Quality Assurance call several days before your move. During that call, the inventory was reviewed and updated to 12 items and 75 pieces. The purpose of this call is specifically to ensure the inventory is as accurate and up to date as possible prior to pickup, allowing us to provide the most accurate estimate available.
Following pickup, the inventory documented by the moving crew reflected a total of 16 items and 93 pieces. According to the inventory records provided, there were approximately 18 additional pieces present at the residence that were not included in the inventory reviewed during the Quality Assurance process. These were not small miscellaneous items, but larger pieces that significantly impacted the overall volume and space required for transportation.
We completely understand that any increase in cost can be upsetting, and we are genuinely sorry that the final charges were higher than you anticipated. However, the revised pricing was the result of the additional inventory transported rather than an arbitrary increase in cost. Our Quality Assurance process exists specifically to minimize these situations, and we apologize that the inventory ultimately differed from what had been reported to us prior to pickup.
We also take concerns regarding interactions with moving crews very seriously. If you believe any member of the moving team acted unprofessionally, we encourage you to contact our customer service department directly so that we can review the matter further.
