Zola was helpful to search for vendors and to keep my planning timeline on track. Also had good experience editing and ordering Save the Dates. However, had several issues with our registry. Specifically, we found that Zola was not properly syncing with our other registry websites (Target, Crate and Barrel) and would not be updated in a timely manner even if it was marked as purchased on Zola by the gift-giver. This resulted in several duplicate items.

Having spent a lot of time designing the website, it is not apparent from the start that being based in the UK means you cannot download the app and therefore cannot access many of its features. However, when I had an issue with adding a UK registry they did take my complaint seriously and helped with adding the registry link.

I used Zola for the cash registry. The site is a bit confusing as you cannot just go to Zola.com, login, and then see your gift tracker (where they keep all of the money sent to you and where you can choose to transfer it into your own account). Rather, you have to go to the URL that was created for you when you made the registry and then find the gift tracker from there. I have read not-so-great things about using Zola for things like cards and actual gifts but for the cash fund it was the best option that I found, actually, and in the end I was able to transfer all of the gifts safely into our account. If you are looking for a site for a cash registry for your wedding that doesn’t take an insane percentage from each gift, then this is a good option.
