Hi Ryoko, Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re truly sorry to hear this and understand how upsetting it must be. We take concerns about product quality very seriously, especially when it involves long-term food storage. Hello, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience — we truly appreciate it. We’re glad to hear your 1200 generator, gear, and food have all been working well, and that our customer service team has taken good care of you. Regarding the solar panels, it’s important to note that the 100-watt rating is based on ideal laboratory test conditions (direct overhead sun, perfect panel angle, cool temperatures, and no atmospheric interference). In real-world outdoor conditions, it’s very common to see lower output — often 60–80% of the rated capacity depending on sun intensity, time of day, cloud cover, temperature, and panel positioning. That said, we’d still be happy to help you optimize performance and ensure everything is functioning properly. If you’d like, reach out to us with your setup details (location, time of day tested, angle, etc.), and we can walk through a few tips to help you get the best possible output. We appreciate your support and your balanced feedback — it helps us continue improving.
