Hello Tim,
I looked into your order, and I see you ordered exactly what I would have recommended. When warm air hits a cold lens it will either result in fogging, or in condensation running off the lens. The Anti-Fog coating that was baked in at the lab makes the lens much less porous at a microscopic level. This should have the same effect as waxing your car. Moisture should bead up and run off the surface. The cleaner the lens is, the better this coating will work. Skin oils, sweat, finger prints, etc. will all give the fog something to adhere to.
The Slam Goggle you ordered has better ventilation than just about any other sports goggle on the market. This ventilation should allow hot air out, and cooler air in behind this lens. This Slam model is exponentially better at reducing fogging than models like the Morpheus or the Maxx Series goggles. If you can safely wear this goggle a little less tight, this may allow more air to circulate behind the lens.
So your goggle has good ventilation, and you selected an excellent coating for reducing fog. (That coating will also reduce glare and protect against scratches.) I hate to hear that you are still experiencing fogging with these glasses, and I have to admit I do not have a perfect solution. There is a different anti-fog treatment called Opti-Fog that works extremely well. But you would need to apply a rejuvenator solution to the lens every few months. If you don’t rejuvenate this coating, the lens starts to turn yellow and can become unusable. This coating is also exponentially more expensive than any other option. If you feel that these tradeoffs are worth the additional anti-fog properties, we will remake these lenses and only charge the price difference between the coating you received and the Opti-Fog coating.
If that solution sounds like a good option, please email me directly and I will get this resolved.
