Advantage TestingReviews of advantagetesting.com

We began using Advantage Testing in 2008 when our kids were starting high school. With the expertise of the tutors at Advantage, our children became confident, high-performing test takers and surprised even themselves. The tutors are respectful, thorough, punctual and knowledgeable. Our experience in the high school years with Advantage was so successful that some of my kids have continued using them at the graduate school level as well. We have proven confidence from over 13 years of tutoring with Advantage Testing over a variety of testing platforms and highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to get the most out of their academics. Advantage is the gold standard for test prep, both academically and mentally. What a gift!

Advantage Testing not only helped me understand test material (ACT) but also the anatomy of the test itself. Shortcuts, skills, elimination techniques, and practice all helped build my confidence while taking the test. My tutor, Kelly Schwarz, was awesome. She was the only tutor I had the opportunity to learn from, but she knew what she was doing. Kelly answered all my questions, was super friendly, but also took things seriously and helped me focus. 10/10 would recommend.

Our three daughters had the best experience with Jay Resh and the team at Advantage testing. They mainly worked with Jay, who always drove them to do their best and really understand the test. He trained them in such a way that they were confident and very well equipped to take the ACT test and all the subject matter tests which they took with different teachers. They loved working with Jay as he made learning a passionate tool for them, especially after long hours of IB classes, they were motivated to work harder and get better results. As a family, we all truly appreciate Jay as an educator that influenced our daughters positively. We highly recommend Advantage Testing.

Kelly Schwartz is an outstanding tutor. My daughter spent almost six months preparing for the SAT with Kelly, once per week, as their scheduled allowed. With Kelly’s help, my daughter was able to raise her numbers to an almost perfect score. After each session, my daughter was happy and confident, traits she rarely was anymore, during such a stressful time of high school. I highly recommend Kelly Schwartz and Advantage testing.

Kelly Schwarz tutored both my kids for their ACTs and SAT Subject tests, and both loved working with her. She has a great manner, and there's no question that her instruction boosted their scores. We highly recommend her!

Both my boys worked with Kelly Schwarz on the high school admission exams and the ACT/ SAT. Kelly was able to quickly hone in on where they needed work and focus on those areas. More importantly, she related well to my children and seemed to instill a sense of calm and confidence that they took with them into each of their exams. The real proof of Kelly's skill is in her results. After working with my boys, they each achieved their desired results. In fact, my boys' faith in Kelly is so strong that my older son reached out to her about advice for the MCAT. She does not tutor for that, but took the time to do some research and offer some suggestions. Kelly is a great tutor!

As my twins approach high school graduation this week, I'm reflecting on how much Jay Resh and his crew has had to do with their success. Far more than helping prepare for those all-important standardized tests, Jay's coaches helped our kids (each with their own distinct learning style) understand how to study, learn, remember, and prioritize information. Honing critical analysis skills in a one-on-one setting helped my kids immeasurably with all their subjects and, perhaps as importantly, with life outside the classroom. I highly recommend to anyone starting high school: get to know Advantage Testing early on, and consider Jay and company part of your kids' educational team. We did and are now in a position to see what a good decision that was.

Patrick Hanley is an extremely intelligent and knowledgeable tutor. More importantly, he has the amazing ability to make very difficult subject matter understandable so that students retain the information. Best of all, Patrick truly cares about his students. He gives 110% to make sure his students succeed. He always responds to questions and provides great advice and preparation for standardized testing. Patrick makes sure all his students have the academic tools needed to succeed. I have experience with many different tutors and Patrick is absolutely the very best. Thank you, Patrick!
