Quality has gone south with tis company, paint quality, finish quality is now poor at best. Shipping is also a joke they use to package their products so they would not get damaged during shipping, this has changed dramatically. Poor too cheap packing is now the norm. Plus they are expensive and they have changed their parts store so it is confusing to find product.

Don't sign anything. I signed a $29,715 Renewal by Andersen of Oregon contract and cancelled before the follow-up technical measurement. Without even asking if there was anything they could do or ask why I cancelled, they sent me a bill for 15%, which they rapidly sent to collections. (I've NEVER been sent to collections!) The contract states that its late-cancellation fee is intended to offset incurred labor, administrative and material costs. I disputed the charge in writing and requested documentation supporting the costs claimed. I continue to dispute the debt, Anderson would take your first born if it said they could on page 87 after a 4 hour demo on someone else's computer. I am now pursuing the available consumer and regulatory dispute processes, but what a life suck. They know most people will be pushed into fulfilling the contract or just paying them. Such a gross company - I don't care if their windows are made of gold and lollipops. At the end of the day, they'd take my family's money for absolutely no work done and no explanation. Don't let them into your home. Interesting everywhere else they have 5 stars...

BEWARE ... Their "no interest" financing is predatory lending. Unless you pay off the balance within 18 months, they slam you with outrageous interest. High interest credit cards are cheaper and you ģet the miles.

Horrible company, service was just as horrible. Only cared about money. Treats their staff like slaves not to mention they are racist and colorist I never in my entire life hated a company so bad. The amount of micromanagement there is, is behind this world. I even heard that they don’t let employees go to the bathroom for more than 3 minutes and only 1 bathroom break in a whole shift. I would love to give this company a 0 but I can’t because of this website. Utterly Disgusted!!

Pushy and Unprofessional Door-to-Door Sales Tactics

One of the Worst Customer Support Experiences I've Had We spent a small fortune upgrading our home with premium windows and a front door, expecting industry-leading craftsmanship and reliable support. While the product is excellent, the customer service following installation has been an absolute nightmare. When we tried to get help both for a warranty claim and for a paid repair, getting a response to our request was near-impossible. Most of the time, the Service Assessment Team did not answer our phone calls, and we were directed to leave a phone message which would be returned at "as soon as possible". Most phone messages were not returned. More specifically, it took three calls and four weeks just to get a live person to initiate an evaluation of our warranty repair and get a quote on our paid repair, three more calls and almost 8 weeks to receive an evaluation of our warranty claim, and now we are incurring an 11 week lead time before the repairs can take place. During this last call, which fortunately did not go to voicemail, I was on hold for 2 hours and 42 minutes before a team member was available. Customer service has been virtually unresponsive all summer! There is nowhere to turn, as Anderson has made it structurally near-impossible to get in touch with anyone who can actually authorize a claim, repair or replacement. The company's customer service staff seems to be woefully understaffed. Anderson is quick to take your money, but the second something goes wrong, you are virtually completely on your own. Please check reviews of this and other window installers to make sure your installer has good references.

After spending over $100,000 a few years ago with this company, now I’m starting a new project. I called Andersen, asking for an on site consultation. ONE HOUR LATER, I’m still answering idiotic questions about the measurements of the windows, the age of the old windows??? the material of the kitchen. What? It’s a REMODEL!! The measurements will likely change. What is wrong with these people?
