The amount of beneficial information that they freely share can be overwhelming. Fortunately they managed to break it down into easily understandable chunks and completely understandable for anyone. Whether they're experienced or just getting started in their business ventures I highly recommend Anderson business advisors. Also they are one of the most affordable.

Anderson has been great to work with. Whenever I have called regarding legal guidance, Anderson has always put me in contact with an attorney that specializes in the specific topic I have called about. Very good service, I highly recommend Anderson to any business owners!

Anderson has been reliable and thorough with all of their services since day one. It seems that they have very well organized internal systems in place alongside great hires that makes for a great partner in legal, business, and tax consultation. We've worked with them to start multiple entities and each one has been handled with care and each representative has gone the distance to ensure every detail was handled properly.

Anderson business advisors has the been the worst company I have ever worked with. I contracted with them in February of 2020 to do my taxes and end of life planning. I didn’t hear from them again until I called them, after I had been asked by my old account if I filed my extensions. I asked them if they filed it, they basically told me they forgot about me, and they had not filed it. I told them I needed to get my money back so I could go somewhere else, and they did issue me a refund for half. Fast forward, I received a bill from the IRS of $11,000 for not filing my extension for 2020. I have been trying to talk to someone for at least 6 months about this. They will not call me back. I continue to get emails letting me know that it is not their responsibility to file my extensions. If I wanted someone to do that for me, I should have gotten a tax partner. As of today, they still have not offered any guidance or any help in any way on how to fix this. The lady I spoke with today said the tax director will not call me back because he has nothing else to say.. he said everything he needed to say in his email.

As any CPA firm knows we can not file tax returns for a client without having them provide the information to actually file the return. At Anderson we do not automatically file a tax extension for a client unless that client formally requests an extension using our online form. Both of which are communicated frequently when someone becomes a client. In this client's case we were unable to file the return or the extension because we never received documents to do so or the formal request for the extension. The detail of what took place is outlined here... Mrs. Norton engaged Anderson to prepare her taxes in February of 2021, not 2020 per the purchase agreement date. Our team provided an outline of processes and what information was required to prepare the tax returns outlined during the initial introduction call. She was advised in this initial communication that depending upon the timeframe in which her tax information was received an extension may be recommended. On March 24th Mrs. Norton contacted our office to discuss her tax preparation needs and was advised to request an extension of time formally in writing to our tax department via a personalized request form. No extension request was received by our tax department from Mrs. Norton and additionally, no documents were provided to begin the tax work as discussed in the previous two conversations. On April 12th Mrs. Norton again requested to review what required information was needed to begin the preparation of her tax returns but again failed to provide the requested information to Anderson staff at this time. Mrs. Norton contacted our team on September 8th requesting to go over the required information once again and to begin the tax preparation process during the discussion stated she would like to have her taxes completed by September 15th, our staff explained the need for the required information be provided for preparation to expedite her request, no documents were provided. On September 10th Mrs. Norton requested a refund after notifying our team that her previous CPA had filed her tax extensions and would be filing her taxes for her moving forward. A full refund of the purchase price of the Tax Package was issued on September 17th. Mrs. Norton contacted our office again on November 23rd stating that she had been penalized by the IRS for not filing her personal taxes by the tax deadline and that she believed Anderson to be responsible to address the notice on her behalf. Our VP of tax and managing partner audited all communication records related to her account and based on that research determined Anderson was not under obligation to engage the IRS on her behalf due to Mrs. Norton not providing any information to file an extension request with the IRS or documentation required to file any tax returns and was subsequently issued a full refund after signing a release form. On March 29th, 2022 Mrs. Norton contacted our office requesting that we address a second IRS notice she had received in relation to this same matter, she was again informed via telephone and email that we were not obligated to address the notice she received. Based on the above information we affirm this complaint is unwarranted and not a factual representation of the situation.
