I am new to Artspan and still learning how to make the best use of the website. I’ve tried two sites before this and Artspan is by far the most user friendly, especially for us tech challenged artists. The support is very good in my experience. I also love that it is specific to artists. I do have one question. Why has the blog page been taken away? I would prefer to have it all in one place. Otherwise I’m really appreciating everything about Artspan.

I have been using Artspan for about 5 years. I find it to be convenient to use and I am extremely happy with most of its features. I can easily upload new artwork from my laptop or smart phone, add multiple views and share artwork to social media- Love this! For the price this is a really good value. The part I’m not crazy about is the Ecomerce. I find it a little cumbersome. There is no place for customer to input their phone number. I arrange shipping after the sale by calling customer and giving options. With no phone number I have to wait for customer to respond to my email w their phone number. I also don’t like that my sales go through Artspan’s Paypal. For large amounts the wait can be long for the funds to show up in my account.

I have been with Artspan from the beginning and am very happy with it .The staff is very helpful and able and if something is wrong , it is me !!

Site quality, templates, customer service, incorporation of new technology all excellent, as echoed by other favorable reviews. I do have to question the business model however, based on my own meager experience with selling through the site. Perhaps this is due to problems with my work/pricing. But I found it interesting that none of the favorable reviews mentioned their selling experience, and the site itself does not share any supportive data in their marketing efforts.

Customer service is great, and Artspan functions well as a simple website. The design and shop options seem slightly less “fancy” or current compared to similar platforms like Squarespace. As a painter with decades of work, I’d also like to be able to separate my work on different pages or add title bars within the gallery on my homepage to indicate where a series or new year of work starts, versus separating work into galleries; for some reason people get confused by the galleries. I would also like to separate available work onto a page of its own so people don’t have to look at every single item on my website (since my work sells at different times and from a variety of years it was created, but I like to display it newest work first). Overall, I have been very pleased, and I recommend Artspan all the time!

I have used Artspan for my professional webpage for many years. It is even more important to me now, as my "day job" has recently ended and I am as I had always dreamed of, a full time artist. Artspan allows me to present a professional page even though I have little experience with technical tasks. I still have some difficulty negotiating the customizing pages, but that fault is more my own than the web page. The cast is very reasonable and has not been raised in my time with them. thank you Artspan.
