Thank you for taking the time to leave such detailed feedback, we genuinely appreciate you explaining your experience.
You’re absolutely right that the green flame effect is temporary. It’s produced by a trace additive in the fuel, and through normal usage that additive is gradually consumed, after which the flame returns to a standard color. This behavior is common across all colored-flame torch lighters, not unique to ours, and we agree this should be communicated more clearly upfront so expectations are set properly.
It’s also worth noting for readers that flame strength is always relative to the quality of butane being used. As outlined in our instructions, refined butane is recommended; lower-grade or unrefined butane can result in a noticeably weaker flame and reduced overall performance. Using refined butane helps preserve both flame quality and the long-term performance of the lighter.
We do want to clarify one point for readers: the lighter itself is made of solid metal, not resin or plastic. The car form is designed first and foremost as a functional lighter with a display style exterior, rather than a precision rolling diecast model. From a technical standpoint, most users prefer that a lighter does not roll easily when placed on a table, so wheel movement and detailing are intentionally aesthetic rather than engineered for free rolling. We appreciate your feedback on how that translated in practice.
Our pricing reflects solid metal construction, small batch production, custom molds, hand assembly, and packaging, rather than mass-produced scale toys. That won’t make it the right value for everyone, and it’s completely fair if it didn’t feel worth the price point for you.
We’d appreciate the opportunity to look into this more closely and better understand the specifics of your experience. If you’re open to it, we’d be happy to review the details directly.
Thank you again for the thoughtful feedback, it’s taken seriously and helps guide future improvements.
