Basis Pet (Not Basic Pet)Reviews of basispet.com

Very kind Customer Service !!!! Thanks

This is a great product and good quality but was too small even though I got the large size. Would be good for a smaller dog but way too small for a St. Bernard. Also a bit overpriced but will last a long time. Was shipped promptly.

Basis bowls are well-made, solid and relatively heavy. I bought two large bowls for my two boxers. However--the large is a bit small for my male boxer. An extra large option would be nice. Also, more attractive options for holding the bowl would be better.

Purchased dog bowls on 2 separate occasions. Bowls are beautiful and make me feel safe knowing they are made in the U.S. Fast shipping. Mike was very responsive to all my questions, responding to multiple emails right away. Highly recommended.

We ordered bowls for our dog he is around 50 pounds, we really wanted bowls made in the USA and Basis pet is the place to get them. I had originally purchased the medium bowls, and they seemed too small so we exchanged them for the large which are perfect mike the owner was very accommodating. I would say while pricey you feel good about your dog eating out of these bowls. I wish the stands we a little more reasonable because we certainly need something to put the bowls in so they don't slip around on the floor. Other than that...a great experience!

Elk bones, have always been very good size. Prices are always on the high side.

I didn't realize how important my dog's bowls were until I happened to catch some online comments. I was using ceramic dishes which were beginning to peel! Not only is Basis Pet an American-based company, I'm assured that the construction to the coating are safe, plus the owner's letter that came with the bowls gave me a really "feel good" impression. They clean very easily and my confidence in their quality is reinforced as I use them. The only thing about which I need to be careful is overfilling the water dish. Reflection has allowed me to overfill several times. :) I highly recommend these bowls to anyone concerned about the quality of the dishes you use to feed and water your pets, again, not to mention, this is a US-based company.

I had to look long and hard to find good quality stainless steel bowls for my four Cotons. I wanted simple design, stainless only, no decoration, etc. I want to be able to put them in the dishwasher every day. Two comments: 1. The rolled rim tends to hold water from the dishwasher and train for a few minutes when you take them out. 2. I wish you had more options on sizes for dog food, I am using the cat bowls but if they were a tad deeper and less wide it would be great. love the product
