We'd like to clarify how hair length is measured on the hair systems, as this is likely the source of the discrepancy you're seeing. Hair length is always measured starting from the base (the root, where the hair is knotted into the base material) to the tip — not from the surface of the cap or how the hair appears to fall once it's mounted. Because of the way hair is ventilated and layered into the base, especially in areas like the sides and back, the visual length can look different from point to point, even when every strand is cut to the same specified length from its base. This is standard in the industry, but we understand it isn't always intuitive if you're used to measuring finished haircuts rather than base-to-tip. It's entirely possible there was a misunderstanding about how the length would translate once mounted.
