I rented a forklift for one day. Everything went well until pick up. The fork lift hasn't been picked up for 12 days and I had to call them to finally pick it up. It looks like this is their business model. As long as the rental equipment is on the customer premises the liability is up to the customer! In addition they save on storage space for the rental equipment.

I needed a boom lift, and their site said $242 per day for either diesel or electric. They said no electric was available, so I said the diesel would be fine. When they sent the contract for approval, the $242 a day had jumped to $540 a day. Turns out, the rate was comparable to my area, but because they list such a low amount on the web site, I went with another company. It was a definite bait and switch.

Check exactly what you are being charged for. I discovered an unexpected charge against my credit card "for fuel used". The charge was excessive, I thought, but the fact they didn't even tell me before they took the money makes me very angry
