Black SpectaclesReviews of blackspectacles.com

Black Spectacles was paramount to me passing my exams. The videos provided a great basic understanding of the topics and the practice exams were great to help me figure out where I needed to learn more. A big complaint I hear regarding BS from the ARE community is price, but I would argue if you are serious about taking your exams it is well worth the money. This is coming from a guy paid for the service out of pocket without any assistance from my firm. I would absolutely recommend this service to anyone looking for third party study material.

Honest Review: The practice tests were very much like the real tests therefore very useful! unfortunately the videos and flashcards were close to useless. The videos are way too broad, and the flashcards too specific with inconsistent format. Edit: for context, I passed the 6 AREs on my first try.

Black Spectacles is very well organized and I highly recommend the program for ARE 5.0 Prep.

The content is very relevant to the actual tests and the practice exams really prepare you for the exams with both content and familiarity of software.

Having taken the test, your training material is very close the real exam and this is super helpful

The sample questions and the explanations that come with them are oriented to help test candidates understand the “big picture “ of the test, not just the content of the question.

Fantastic explanations, understandable mock exams.

I've been working to obtain my license for a while and for a number of reasons it has alluded me. Now, I feel I have the opportunity I need with the level of study aids Black Spectacles offers and the level of quality they have. It is truly helpful for me to be able to test with exam like questions and have the ability to review answers on line. I think the lecture series is the best I have ever seen. All of the segments are short and are of very high quality. Being able to down load the transcript to take notes is another feature that I like and it is very helpful. With Black Spectacles I believe my journey to obtain my license is coming to an end and I am excited about that! Thanks Black Spectacles!
