I've been enjoying Boot.dev courses…
I've been enjoying Boot.dev courses over the past 7 months now. The selection of courses extends beyond what I am focused on and I like that a lot! If you are a beginner, they have courses for you. If you are looking to review knowledge you might've lost or is since out of date, they have courses and a training tab for you and if your looking to build around an already strong set of knowledge, chances are they have a course for you. Each course goes into details that when completed, make me feel comfortable with at least starting up a project and seeing where that takes me. I bought a subscription to keep me honest and want it more, but they let you use the site completely free for a while to get a feel for it first. I started with knowledge of Python, some JavaScript and wanted to get better at both in addition to being more active and feeling more confident approaching and building projects. I have accomplished that goal and then some and hope to continue building out my knowledge and get the most of my subscription. Some other things I've learned since then include - How to set up Linux on Windows and how to use it on windows - How to use Git to manage projects and take advantage of a version history (very liberating) - How to build an AI agent that can (if you want to) help with building projects - How the discord server for Boot.dev works and how people there are willing to help pass on knowledge
