The seat is made so that it will not swivel at the bottom of the staircase. This makes it very difficult to exit the seat since there is no room to move your feet around the opposite wall. Poor design indeed. Other then that it works well.

I'm very new to having a stair lift. I think I need to use it for at least 6 months before I could determine if I should give it five stars. I'll start with four. One thing I wish is that it had a bigger seat and the foot pad was just a little longer. Other than that, it seems very durable.

Installation quick and easy relatively speaking. had service out to adjust foot pad. that took a little time. now it goes 1/3 of the way down and stops...then starts up again goes down another third of the way and then stops. then it starts up and goes to the bottom. annoying. Good thing....I get to go down stairs again after 8 years of being stuck up in the kitchen

We like our new stairlift but the ride is more bumpy than we were hoping for. Mainly with the curve going around the landing to the top of the stairs.

The installer of these was outstanding. The person who used them died. When we unplugged the items the batteries have a signal that they have run down. We do not know how to shut them off, so we have had to leave them plugged in.

We had problems with the starlift . It would not stop beeping. It was not docking for us.
