We are very disappointed with the height of the chair back. Our multiply disabled son throws himself back and hits his head on the wall. We had our former lift for 20 years and didn't even think that this could be a problem.

Like: The quick installation of the product. Dislike: Was not able to try product out because of the electrical needing to be installed. I found out that the chair is high for me to get onto and sit in. And my knees hit the door frame.

Our Unit began working on Apx.Dec21instlation began on Nov 2 Working Well -such a comfort to have it installed. The installation was a Disaster.! Three trips,1) installed 2) unit stopped mid stairs 3) Unit burned up, lots of smoke ! Technician Drake stayed with it until it was right Install 2 Nov-21Dec 2022 (Date not working )

This is not a usual installation of a straight stairlift - which normally takes less than three hours. We will reach out to you to learn more and work with your dealer to ensure everything is working safely and properly.

We had to rebook due to missing product prior to installation 3 weeks late. Took 4+hours to install. Did not have proper lag bolts to complete proper install and used other bolts left over from another job from in their van. While installation a large 2 ft gash occurred during install of lift. No admission or apology noted. Finish taken from hard wood as well as a definitive indent to wood is present. Poor education to consumer and no demonstration of product prior to installers departure. Noted lag bolts missing to bottom stairs after installers left site.

I couldn't go up and down the stairs because I'm a hemiplegic guy on the right side. The chairlift works well for going up and down the stairs. The only problem is the foot rest for me is an awkward position located under the seat. Because of my disability I cannot put my right foot on the foot rest and I have to use my left foot to secure the right foot. Why couldn't the foot rests be longer so I can put my right foot on?

I purchased an Elan Straight Stairlift to replace an Acorn for which parts were no longer available. The Elan is not as robust as the Acorn was - the seat isn't as solid on its support and the arms and footrest are somewhat flimsy by comparison. The lift also makes an inconsistent clicking noise when travelling up and down the stairs. Installer came a second time to adjust, post installation, but it made no difference and he said that was the best he could do. If this is Bruno's best, I'm disappointed with this purchase.

Chair performs well, but the documentation is severely lacking. Some codes are provided, but the system provides codes not covered in the documentation. Chair seems to have a mind of it's own, because it constantly stops several times during it's operation. Support from the company's support staff was completely useless.
