I have been using Chanty since beta and it works fairly well and similar to Slack if you are a business that needs a good chat collaboration tool. The biggest benefit over something like Slack is the cost. We have been using the free tier this whole time and have not had any message count hard caps or anything else imposed on us. It's still lacking some features that apps like Slack provide, but overall I think it's a great alternative if your budget doesn't allow for Slack to be used in your organization.
