Best choice going with Citizen Shipper as I got to choose the best company to transport my dog. I communicated with several different companies and it helped me make the right choice!! Thank you Citizen Shipper

I needed to have my dog transported for me to make my move less stressful on myself and my dog. I hired a driver who didn't give me the cheapest bid but said he was available sooner than others. The driver said the cheapest he could go was $2,000.00 to pick up my dog on Tuesday. He told me to transfer the money and he would make the necessary arrangements. Then he billed me $2,200.00. I paid him anyway because I needed the job done. The next day he claimed the airline was booked and they had no room for him to transport the dog and he wouldn't be able to do it for another 3 days. I called the airline and they said they had plenty of room for that Tuesday. I tried cancelling with the driver and he gave me the run around and lots of excuses. I ended up transporting the dog myself so I asked for my money back and told him I understand if the airline had a cancellation fee and I was willing to pay it. He continued to give me the run around and lots of excuses. I reported him to citizenshipper via e-mail but found that contacting them through Facebook was faster. The driver refunded me $1,075. claiming the remaining $1,125 went to cancellation fees. Again I had to file a complaint with the company and they told him he needed to provide proof of where the money went. He sent me screenshots of some third party website and their options for cancellation insurance that he chose not to get- never showed me a single receipt, and sent me more excuses. I told citizenshipper that he provided NO PROOF of what he spent my money on or if he had even bought a plane ticket and I demanded a full refund. They froze his account and told him to give me a full refund in order for him to use their site. And finally I got my money sent back to me. It was an ordeal that I didn't need in the middle of a big move!!! Total waste of time!!!

Hi Nicole, we're extremely sorry to hear that you experience wasn't a positive one and empathize with the upset happening during an big move. We can understand how frustrating that must have been. We're glad to hear that our intervention lead to you obtaining a full refund from the driver. Please know that drivers are independent contractors on the site, and are not employed by CitizenShipper. Please take some time to review the driver on the CitizenShipper platform so that other future customers can be made aware of your experience.

They were quick!! They kept me posted on the time frame of delivering my motorcycle. I've never had my motorcycle with someone I didn't know but these guys made me feel very comfortable also due to it being in an enclosed trailer and they knew how to tie it down properly I feel very comfortable I also kept in contact with the dispatching office who kept me calm LOL. These guys OraQuick driving way from Florida to Illinois in a matter of a few days or so. It was very simple and easy to work with them with setting up my delivery as well as making a payment. I will definitely use them again as well as tell my other biker friends about them if we ever need shipping. Thank you guys again. Go citizenshipper!!!!!

This was my first time using Citizen Shipper, so we weren’t entirely sure what to expect. We were routing our new puppy from the breeder to our trainer in another state amidst COVID-19 and many airlines ceasing to transport pets in the interim. The platform was fairly straightforward to use – you input in the details of your trip and then receive bids from various pet shippers. After receiving two different bids and communicating with these shippers regarding details, reading the reviews on Citizen Shipper and Google, we elected to pick one of the bids and had an easy experience. Remaining communication after booking the transport happens directly with your selected service. After the transport finished and the pup arrived, it was super easy to upload a review for our driver since she did a great job!
