Poor communication, poor service
I met the owners at a professional conference, and they sounded like they knew their stuff. They sounded excited to help me invest my money into crypto mining. After a follow-up call, and in-person meeting at their facility, they presented me with a plan, and I moved forward with a big investment. I would be able to own my own machines, hosted at their facility, and monitor my machines using a software called Foreman. I would even have some amount of control on how I ran my machines (fast and expensive, slow and steady). They would "host" my machines, keeping them clean, keeping the software updated, performing small repairs, helping me when I need to get big repairs made, and once a month they would bill me for the electricity, and a "hosting fee". In retrospect, this was the biggest mistake I have made in my life. After wiring my money to them, for 9 crypto mining machines, and a shelf-placement fee, in the end of July 2024, I waited about a month, and 3 of my 9 machines were online. The first 3 machines went online at the end of August, and I received my first hosting invoice on Sept 1, 2024 for a few hundred dollars. I started receiving mining profits in my pool around the 6th of September, and I never found out what happened to all my profits between about August 24 and Sept 5. I asked to be connected to Foreman, but no one responded. That first month (September) one of my 3 machines already went down for multiple days. I emailed after 3 days being offline, with no response. They eventually were all online again, but the other 6 machines were nowhere to be found. I sent inquiries by Email in October, November, and and received some responses on how they were expecting them at any point, and they are "receiving batches" . Finally on December 1 they said they had received 4 of the remaining 6 machines, and that one of my other 3 machines was down and back at the manufacturer's for service. By January, 2025 I was again emailing them 3 times, about the last 2 machines still not in after just about 6 months since I had paid for them. Again they said they should be in the next week. Furthermore, the last 4 machines that they hooked up for me were reading as 3 because they hooked 2 together as one. I don't know for the life of me why anyone would do that. Soon the final 2 machines came in, sometime in February 2025, and after a month one was offline, which I emailed them about after waiting 2 days to see if they would fix it without my intervention. No response to my email, but it did eventually go back online, and there was no message to me that it was back online either. Now that I have all my machines online, and I have the mining pool stats on my phone and home PC, I asked one of them techs, by email, to connect me to Foreman, and he said he would. He said everyone uses Foreman (I wish). That never happened. The next 9 months was a season of curtailments, maintenance, and random down-time. One of my machines went down and needed a repair at the factory, and they were good enough to ship it for me, and bill me directly. What happened next was the weirdest part. During the first week of January 2026, everything went offline, and they blamed it on a snowstorm. After a few days, they said they were working on "re-energizing" the facility. Then they went quiet. For weeks, there was no communication, follow-up, or update. I would email requests for updates, and usually got nothing in response. On February 3, 2026 they responded to my email and stated they were down due to the weather. On March 6, they told me they were working with the power company to restore power to the facility. At this time, they also suggested that I might want to remove my machines from their facility, if I cannot wait any longer for restoration of their electricity. I waited another 4 weeks, then requested my machines be shipped to my house. They complied right away, and my shipping bill was a few hundred dollars. In the middle of April, 2026, after being offline for 4-1/2 months, I received all 9 machines at my home in Florida. We opened the boxes. The machines were filthy with shop dust. Even the boxes and packaging were filthy. There were bird feathers stuck in the cooling fan grills. In the next month I was able to ship 5 of the machines to another hosting facility, and one still isn't running. It was so dirty that the board burned out after running only a couple of days. 4 of my machines are too old now to be profitable; almost worthless. They were highly profitable in July 2024 when I paid for them, but they didn't give me my machines or get them online until December 2024 (5 months). 5 months is an eternity in crypto mining. They never provided an adequate or honest answer, and never even asked or said anything after I pulled my machines. No explanation, no follow up, no elaboration, no exit-interview, not even any good excuses.
