Misrepresentation with a business model to destroy your business
This company misrepresents their loans as merchant cash advances against future receivables. When our receivables dropped nearly 40% YOY, they agreed to a temporary reduction in our payment for 4 weeks. When we persisted in requesting an ongoing reduction in required repayment amount (supposed to be linked to our receivables), they offered a restructure of the loan that included a confession of default on the original agreement. They agreed to reduce our payment amounts for 4 weeks and then used that to make the case that we had defaulted on the terms. Google the consequences of signing an agreement that includes your confessing to default. The leverage they gain over you is life-threatening to your business. Do not do business with them. Do not take an MCA loan from any company. There is more information online about the spiral debt trap of MCA lending than there is information about MCA lending and the companies. I made a bad choice is taking an MCA loan when we faced 2 slow, frigid Winter seasons, hurting our cashflow and profit. The latest response from the lender was the threat that collection efforts will begin immediately if you miss a payment. I refused to sign the admission of guilt of defaulting on our loan payments, which we have not done.
