I bought my frames through coolframes.com because they were the exact same frames that my doctor's office had but 100.00 less expensive. It was an easy purchase and quick delivery. I would definitely use them again.

Since the frames ship from the US and I live in Canada I thought maybe I’d have to pay duties and taxes. But not, they arrived via Canada Post at my door and it was super quick! Very pleased! Great frames for a great price.

thank you for your order, currently a treaty between the US and Canada permits eyewear to be shipped to our neighbor to the north without any duties, and since we are so close to each other shipping time is significantly reduce. enjoy your purchase. Lee

Return policy is very bad, charge too much for shipping a returned item that wasn’t satisfactory!! Not willing to work with the customer...
Reply from Cool FramesMay 27, 2018
our return policy is listed on our site. we offer a one time free exchange or even offer full store credit for use any time. the product you received was brand new and it was exactly what was order. if a frame is returned to us for refund we have a cost associated with shipping the frames back to our dealers that changes us a restocking fee and we cover the cost of shipping from the dealers to the dealer and to our customers. the shipping charge was was covered by our store for your order. we are still willing to offer the amount charged in restocking as a credit to you if you make a purchase with us in the next few weeks so that you do not take a loss of any kind. Cool Fames is a customer friendly eyeglass company. Big selection of eyeglasses in various sizes. If it is out of stock, they will order it for you. If you ordered the wrong size, no problem, you can return it. I was happy with the frames I purchased through them and I would have ordered another pair if the brand wouldn't have discontinued the color.

There is no phone number and after I placed my order the website stopped working so I was very scared. It began working again the next day and I got the glasses in about 3 weeks. 1. The countdown on the coupon code is fake because it starts over everyday. 2. I wish I had read more about the transition lenses because they change color but do not provide any relief whatsoever. This is especially frustrating when I am driving. Overall, I saved probably close to $150, however I need to have them adjusted and have no physical, local place to have them adjusted. Not sure if I made the right decision. UPDATE: I repeat that the company is unreachable by phone despite the reply to my review. Additionally, the lenses do not darken very much at all, and if I want to exchange them as the reply says, it will be at my expense. You get what you pay for. Update: This is rude. Very dissatisfied with this review process and the disrespect. No further reply is required.

thank you for your purchase, do not fear we are here to help if needed. our site is alway up and is monitored 2/47 our phone number is listed in several places on the site. photo chromatic lenses darken in the sun, however they are not a100% substitute for sunglasses and they need UV light to activate them hence the poor darkening in the car. we are happy you saved with us and please know if you are not 100% happy with your purchase we can certainly exchange them for you. Update:not sure what you mean at your expense? yes you would be responsible to ship back the frame and pay $9.95 processing fee and the difference if the frame you get is more expensive. we do not see how that is unreasonable and what we actually did wrong. you placed an order for eyeglasses and we shipped what was purchased, furthermore are not turning our back on you or anyone. in any case with all due respect if you should want to exchange it would be our pleasure.
