Crossrope Jump RopesReviews of crossrope.com

The Amp handles cost around $100 on their own, but Bluetooth functionality requires a separate membership. The current advertised entry tier is $4.99/month, with a higher tier for workouts and training programs. The whole system is a gotcha, though. Without membership, you lose access to the handles' app-connected functionality, including something as simple as jump counting.

I am highly dissatisfied with the support and resolution provided by Crossrope. After submitting a warranty claim for an issue with my AMP handles, the claim was denied. The recommended solution from the support team was to purchase a replacement AMP Battery. However, I discovered that the replacement AMP Battery is unavailable for purchase or shipment to France, making the proposed solution completely unworkable for a customer in this region. When I raised this issue, the support's alternative was to offer a 20% discount on an entirely new set of AMP handles. This is an unacceptable solution. I should not be forced to buy a full product replacement, even with a discount, when I only need the single spare part that they recommended. This experience highlights a significant limitation in Crossrope's customer support and logistics. When a simple, recommended spare part is not available to a customer in a major European country, and the only alternative is an expensive, unnecessary upgrade, it severely diminishes confidence in the brand and any future purchases. I still require an actionable solution for acquiring the replacement AMP battery in France. Future customers should be aware of these support and inventory limitations.

I think the quality of the ropes is not bad but they are extremely overpriced imo. Also, if you are working indoor the ropes will dent your wooden floor! There is an accompanying app which was free (and hence I justified myself buying the ropes in the first case, and not all the workouts in the app are free now) Nonetheless, there is a fb group as well and they severely moderate all the posts in case your are discussing other jump rope brands and/or some of the negative aspects of using crossrope. I really dislike this kind of moderation!
