Data Engineer AcademyReviews of dataengineeracademy.com

I joined DE academy in early 2026 looking to strengthen my skills and ultimately become a data engineer. The people apart of this program are truly passionate about helping their students become successful with the large community of students in the same boat and the very helpful instructors. I wholeheartedly recommend if anyone is feeling stuck and want to become a Data Engineer

I’ve been enrolled with Data Engineering Academy for the past two months, and the experience has been outstanding. I really appreciate the pace of the program — it’s structured, manageable, and keeps me consistently moving forward. The entire Data Engineering community is incredibly supportive, and my Success Coach does an amazing job staying connected with me, following up regularly, and making sure I’m progressing. The learning material is top‑notch, well-organized, and easy to follow. The coaches are knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to help, which makes a huge difference when tackling new concepts. Overall, I’m having a great experience so far, and I truly feel supported every step of the way.

Within two months of entering the Data Engineer Academy, I accepted an offer for a Data Engineer role and officially broke into a six-figure salary. I knew I wanted to transition into data engineering, but the sheer volume of tools—Databricks, PySpark, SQL, AWS, Snowflake—felt incredibly overwhelming to navigate alone. The curriculum at Data engineer Academy bypasses the generic theory and zeroes in exactly on what modern data engineering teams actually look for—building robust ETL pipelines, optimizing cloud data warehouses, and mastering real-world frameworks. It doesn't just teach you how to code; it teaches you how to think, interview, and position yourself like an experienced engineer. This academy bridges the gap between wanting a high paying tech career and actually landing one. If you are willing to put in the work, the Data Engineer Academy provides the exact roadmap to completely transform your financial and professional future. Don't wait—just do it!

Welcoming learning environments, with ranges in technology and logic . A unique and rewarding learning experience.

Amazing program. Tremendous value for money. Excellent education and training materials. Coaching is top notch. Resume and professional training is on point. All of the live Q/A and training sessions are outstanding. They also have continual mindset training, how to communicate, and how to focus on delivering on the 80/20 rule. Lastly, instead of certificates, they provide projects and evaluations that give you real-life skills, system design and experience you can take into the interview and professional career. Very blessed to have Monisha Murugan as my coach, she has been fantastic

The instructors are very hands on and are able to be utilized as much as you need. The only thing to remeber is they will not come to you, YOU must go to them for help. There is an abundance of resources that DEA provides for you you just have to remeber that theyare there! ask questions, show up to AMA meets, read the "cheat sheets" and manuals. The only way I could have started from 0 to learning the ins and outs of a data engineer is with DEA.

I have been going through the program with DE Academy for a little over two and a half months now. So far the experience has been very good. The program provides expert training for the high-growth field of data engineering so I can increase my earning potential. Beyond just teaching technical skills, they actively help you break into the data engineering specialization and understand exactly what it takes to get your resume noticed and land a role. The program is highly personalized and was tailored to my specific background and knowledge gaps. For example, if you already know SQL, you can fast-track past the basics and focus heavily on filling your actual knowledge gaps. Also, their program is very much like a "Personal Trainer" style of motivation, organization, and accountability. The staff is incredibly hands-on, touching base regularly to monitor progress, test your skills, keep you motivated, and adjust your plan whenever life events create scheduling challenges. And whenever you get stuck on complex technical concepts, expert help is readily available to support your hands-on learning. Ultimately, I'll know if this remains a five-star experience when I reach the end and land a role but so far, it looks like if I simply do my part and remain disciplined as a student, there's no reason why I wouldn't be successful. I can happily report that they are delivering on their end of the partnership. I'm Super Happy ... easy to give five stars.

Monisha Murugan is my success coach at DEA. She has been wonderful helping me through this process.
