The location for my state closed…
The location for my state closed without notice, without being told of the closure; this means that, after being 90% done, I will not get to walk across the stage with my daughter unless we travel to Illinois for the ceremony, and in this economy, who can do that? I will get my diploma mailed to me instead... So I'm completely distraught. Thinking of unrolling and moving to another school, because this was one of the factors I was excited to have before signing on to the school. Communication is key to any relationship.

We know Commencement is a huge milestone for our graduates, and we understand how much it means to celebrate this achievement with the people who have supported you along the way. We wanted to share a bit of additional context: since 2022, DeVry has hosted one in-person Commencement ceremony in our home state, Illinois. For graduates who aren't able to attend in person, we also offer a virtual Commencement so they can still be recognized and celebrate this important accomplishment. Regardless of how graduates choose to participate, diplomas are mailed approximately 8–10 weeks after degrees are conferred. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
