We are very proud to be a non-traditional gallery in so many ways representing local artists. I, Deb, have been an artist for over 35 years, working in a variety of mediums. I am proud to be Irish born and to own this intimate and personal gallery with outstanding local talent. My husband, Mark, is the Gallery Manager and has been producing Irish art for several years. Together, we host a variety of art events, classes and even contests at DKW Art Gallery.

A safe and fun place to learn, especially since I'm a beginner.

The art classes at DKW are for everyone — all ages, all abilities. The level of detail and skill taught is amazing, and you can tell the instructors genuinely care about helping each student grow. They also represent a wonderful group of local artists across all mediums, with original artwork for sale at very reasonable prices. Many of the artists take on custom work as well. DKW regularly hosts art shows, and it's wonderful to see so many of her students' work featured alongside the professional artists. It really speaks to the quality of instruction and the sense of community DKW has built. This isn't just a place to take a class — it's a true art community that supports local artists and students alike.

Deb is an extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful instructor. If you are having trouble with a technique she will take the time to help get you back on track.

The joy and the progress of the student is a great addition to any payment received for the lesson. Thank you so much for this compliment.

Mike is a great painter and instructor! I've learned so much from him. I don't think I've ever looked forward to a class as much as I do his.
