My dog needed treatment for a UTI. His usual vet would’ve charged $75 for an appointment, along with $150 for a UTI test and an additional $30-50 for the necessary medication. With the holidays around the corner and finances already being tight, Dutch’s veterinarian was a godsend. What easily would’ve been $300 at the vet, only cost me roughly $55 — payment for the membership and the antibiotic. I’m still waiting for the antibiotic to be shipped to me but so far my experience is completely positive and I’m grateful because seeing his usual vet would have been a serious strain on our finances, but I can’t have my little buddy sick or in pain!

Convenient and affordable! It only took about 6 hours from when I registered for the appointment to have meds for my cat. And it's about 25% less than a local vet visit and waaay less trauma on the animal and me!

Good service. Doctor was compassionate and helped us rule out or sort of figure out what was wrong. We still had to find a vet and all vets had no emergency availability so we had to travel out of town to find a hospital.

Paid for an annual membership, and met with a vet via Zoom. Vet advised he would prescribe 2 medications for my very sick cat. He also stated that my cat could potentially be fine in one to two weeks, and that if not, I’d have to take him to an emergency vet. When I went to fill the prescriptions on Dutch, the first estimated arrival date of the meds was 2 weeks from our visit. Otherwise, to expedite to 5 days, I’d need to pay $30.00 shipping. What sick animal can wait for 2 weeks for medication? And $30.00 for shipping!?!? NO ONE charges that much for a small package in 5 days. I reached out via email to their “care” team to find out what to do, none of the local pharmacies (including Costco) had the medications they prescribed. I was referred to a few online pharmacies and was able to find one for half the price with free shipping for 1-3 day delivery. I was advised by the Dutch customer service representative that they would expedite transfer of the med to 24-hours. It has now been over 24-hours, and the online pharmacy has reached out to tell me they have been unable to contact anyone with Dutch to send the meds. Meanwhile, I forwarded everything to the representative at Dutch to try and make it easier, and now I’m essentially getting “it’ll get done as quickly as possible” when yesterday the same rep said it’d be done within 24-hours. I wouldn’t recommend this service at all. It’s too much money for nothing that will help you quickly. In addition, now I’m getting conflicting information across the board with the same blanket statements about transferring to a local pharmacy like Costco when my initial issue was that no local pharmacies carry these meds. I even asked the doctor if he could prescribe something different…….crickets. Take your pet to an actual veterinarian. It’ll cost less in the long run and you’ll get what you need much faster. It doesn’t matter if the Zoom vet is awesome. If they can’t do anything to help, what’s the point?

Dr Berger was great! I was nervous for my first call with Dutch and all kinds of what ifs were going through my head because I'm an overthinker. Dr Berger listened to my concerns and didn't try to overtalk me (some of our in person vets are prone to that), was very reassuring and confident, and put me at ease both about my dog's issues and the proposed treatment. Even though our appointment was late (8pm) he was in good spirits and had the prescriptions written up shortly after our call. I was able to order the meds that night and they shipped next day! Very happy with the service so far.
