I liked the pliability of these ear plugs as well as the fit and sound filter. That being said...it does leave a residue in one's ear that I didn't really like.

Dear Susan: To eliminate any of the Pure Lanolin residue, just simply (work or knead) the ear plugs for 20 seconds just prior to insertion. That will disburse the pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Sincerely Mary-customer service

Dear Sharon: Communication without Understanding is Unfortunate & frustrating! Being an honorable company, we invite ALL FEEDBACK. That is how we can grow and be better for everyone!!!!!! Sharon, you are surely not wrong in your feelings or observations, BUT had you inserted the ear plugs CORRECTLY, your experience would have been totally different. We've sent you the HIGHEST BLOCKING EAR PLUG in existence! We know this fact because we wear them too! but to experience the silence, you must insert our (soft and moldable) Beeswax ear plugs as follows: 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and SEALS it. When the ear plug is soft and moldable and ready to insert, it doesn't matter what shape it is; round, flat, long or narrow; just follow the next step. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push FIRMLY& FLATTEN the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL!) If it doesn't seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will SEAL well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & sealing the ear canals, you’ll notice a HUGE improvement. 4. To Remove: Simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb & index finger and gently pull downward and out. Sharon, your success is IMPORTANT TO US. Despite what people have said you cannot prevent a degree of sound getting through,but they do make a good difference and take the worst out of loud sounds. However why are they blue? It is very obvious when you walk around with two great lumps of blue squeezed all over your ears. Why can't they be more skin colour?

It's blocks almost the sound wich is good, but when i use it daily it leaves traces of the earplug in my ears, so the size diminuish after some usage. But it suits for what i'm looking.
