It's an amazing free theme and they actually support it!
To me each of Shopify's free themes have that little something that's lacking, and as a starting seller I really want to keep my costs down until the store starts turning a consistent profit. Ecomify, for a free theme, has everything I need to properly build a test store that doesn't look like it's a scam and doesn't cost me $$$ to do it. I first tried it because all I wanted at the time were different images and carousels for desktop and mobile but found other useful sections and formatting options that I didn't find in the free Shopify themes. And the customer support is very responsive for a free theme. An app was causing some display issues even when disabled, and the team actually worked on the weekend (!!!) to get it fixed. So yes for a free theme I'm quite happy.
