Pretty sure Flightelf is a scam to get your credit card information. Buyer beware! I ordered a drone from them and immediately realized there was something fishy with this company. It had no reviews outside of its website, and the only video about the drone was produced by them (with some very American-sounding dude) and no one was allowed to add comments. Within an hour of my purchase, I canceled my order. They responded 2 days later and told me the drone had already been sent. That when I received it, I could return it. I asked for the return information and they would not send it to me until I received the package. NOW I know why. It came packaged in a bag (not a box) wrapped in bubble wrap. Nothing inside was sealed or secured. It looked like junk. It was sent from a warehouse in New York, BUT they require you to return it to an address in China! They were unresponsive once they sent me the return information. Meanwhile, within two weeks of purchasing this item, someone tried to pull money from our account through an ATM and then tried to purchase AT&T gift cards (I made the big mistake of paying with my debit card used as a credit card). Both my husband and I had to cancel our cards and have new cards sent to use, wreaking all kinds of logistical havoc. Then, to add insult to injury, it cost me $123 through USPS Priority Mail Express to return a $537 product, only to have it delivered back to me because it is considered prohibited content. I have never experienced anything like this and I have been around the block a few times. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. BTW, the address for Flightelf on the side of the page is incorrect. If I could give them less than 1 star I would. Seems fishy to me that the positive reviews here for flight elf all say thr same thing and talk about how great the home feature is. When I used it the drone did NOT land anywhere near where it was supposed to. One battery has never worked, never held a charge, wouldn't come on even plugged in. Waiting to hear back from the company and not holding my breath.

I'm surprised flight elf while trying to return my drone within the 30 days that they block you from sending the tracking back to them. I will end up eating almost $500 because they don't let you send your tracking information to them very disappointed with this company and the drone that I got absolutelya terrible drone with terrible customer service from flight elf be very careful I've read many reviews There's a lot of people that don't like this company and I see why I'll never do business with them again

I ordered a drone from Flightelf and it took three weeks to arrive, they sent me a completely different model from the one I ordered, I reached out to them to explain they had sent me a cheaper model and their response was that I should just fly as it’s a nice drone, after days and days of endless emails they told me I should send it back to China at my expense which I refused. I paid with Amex and disputed the transaction, I sent Amex all the emails regarding the purchase and they refunded my money in full, Flightelf refused to send me prepaid postage back to China so I still have it, I’d be more than happy to send it back if they want to pay. I personally wouldn’t use this company again, if it wasn’t for Amex understanding my situation I would have been out over $500.00. Buyer beware, hope this helps.

My entire buying experience from Flightelf.com has been horrible. According to their website, it takes 7 - 10 days to deliver a drone to most anywhere in the US. it actually took 21 days for the drone to arrive. Then I realized they shipped me the wrong model. Trying to communicate with their custom service team is impossible. They do not understand English well. My emails would either go unanswered or they would provide a response that didnt answer my questions. Now they want me to pay to ship the drone back to China to get a refund, even though they shipped me the wrong model. I want point out that the customer reviews on their website are not accurate. Every every single one is a five star review. All of them describe how great their drones operate and how quickly they are delivered. They also claim that their customer service is top-notch. None of this is true. Compare the reviews on this site to reviews on Flightelf.com. I also suggest checking out the reviews about Flightelf on youtube.com. Buyers beware. Chinese companies do not have to operate ethically when selling products online. They will not abide by US or international laws. You have little recourse when they do not follow through with their promises. The only thing you can do is stop buying from them.

Flighelf Drone Review While I knew that the Flightelf drone I was ordering would have been "made" in China, until I ordered it I didn't know that it would actually be shipping "from" China and take 3-weeks to arrive. I've worked with drones before and never had a problem (or a crash) but I've never had one of my own so I wanted to take my time and follow the manufacturer's instructions closely in case this drone operated differently. Unfortunately the instructions supplied with the Flight Elf drone were so short and written in such poor English that they were very hard to understand. To make matters worse, even though the Flightelf app has a tab for more flight instructions, when you tap the button it won't open so that feature is totally useless. One of the two drone batteries would not take a full charge and the controller device would only hold a charge for about 15-minutes. I flew the drone twice in an open area with good GPS and cell signal, and both times, after just a few minutes, and without me touching the controls, the drone left its hover, shot off to one side and then crashed into the ground. The second crash broke two of the propeller arms. When I emailed Flight Elf and reported the problem they told me that it was my fault the drone crashed and for $160 they would send me the replacement parts. I asked them, "Why should I pay for parts when the drone (or controller) is defective and will probably just crash again?". They said that's my problem, and that before they would consider a refund or replacement I would have to send it back (to China) for their inspection. I was not keen on throwing good money after bad but figured sending it back was my only option so I paid the $75 shipping cost and waited weeks for it to reach China. Then it got worse! USPS tracking showed that the drone arrived in Xiamen China but is “on hold” in customs. As I write this the package has been on hold for 2-months. I emailed Flight Elf about how long this was taking and they responded by telling me to "look at the tracking, we haven't received it". It has now been almost 4-months since I made the mistake of ordering a Flightelf drone. I'm out more than $450 and have had the frustration of dealing with the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. And just to add insult to injury, after I told them that I was going to write a review about their product and service, they emailed back and said, “We sent you a refund.” I've waited 3-days and still no sign of a refund from PayPal. My total experience with Flightelf has been a disaster, the company does not stand behind their products and is obviously only interested in collecting money for an inferior product and have no concern for customers after the sale. Obviously, my recommendation to anyone looking to buy a drone is to not even consider Flightelf.

Drone is fairly easy to set up and fly for a beginner who has never flown a drone but I was hoping to fly it over our neighbors house and it does not go 1600 feet it goes about 100 feet up 200 feet into the distance Before it is distance, limited on the app

This is a good starter drone. Has a few good features and can maintain a good flight. has decent battery life and good camera quality. Flight is good and holds good altitude. Did not test with distance over which it can operate but in works fine within 100m range. Over all a good buy and good start drone
