Plumbing leaks affect 1 in 12 dwellings every year. Catastrophic leaks often begin as a small, undetected drip. These plumbing failures devastate lives, result in billions in insurance claims annually and can cause long term damage including mold infestation. The FloLogic smart water valve constantly monitors your plumbing system and senses leaks as small as a half-ounce per minute or as significant as a broken pipe, then automatically shuts off your water to prevent water damage. Known as “the circuit breaker for every plumbing system®,” the innovative and patented FloLogic System enables home and business owners to greatly reduce or eliminate the economic and personal loss associated with plumbing failures. The FloLogic System has received numerous awards and accolades, including “Best of What’s New” award by Popular Science magazine and "One of “Top 100 Products” by Building Products magazine. The FloLogic System was featured in "This Old House" magazine “Smaller Safer, Smarter” and featured on “Ask This Old House” television program.

No problems, it is good to know that no water accidents will occur when we are away. The system was easy to install and worked as expected. our evaporative cooling system had to be excluded since water usage may go on more than the time limits we have stablished

Great company and great product. Had some hard water problems and Mr.De Smet was all over the solution, sending me new parts and impellers. All is working well now. Wish there was a way to suspend the FloLogic during the softener back wash cycle. But other than that the device has helped us find bad valves and faucets too. Great product idea, I wish Flologic all the success it deserves.

Flologic is a great tool. It works and gives us peace of mind. I recommend to family and friends. We also get a reduction on our home insurance.

Currently working well
Valued FloLogic C.
System has worked well over several years. Only issue has been backup battery which gor depleted during a power outage and had to be replaced. Hard finding an exact replacement.

We had a flood in our house, and on recommendation from our insurance company, we purchased this product. Pretty straightforward when talking with the rep (I didn't know I was talking to a reseller, so felt a little bad when I went through the insurance-contracted plumber as I just assumed that was what I was suppose to do.) Anyway, operates as discussed and no issues for the last several months. Only comment is that we never checked with any other product company, so I have no idea as to how it compares to other systems (that's why I took off one star).
Valued FloLogic C.
I've had Flologic installed several years ago in my vacation house without the need for it until this winter when there was a short to the thermostats that control the heat. A pipe in the upstairs bathroom froze, expanded, and then cracked. After the house warmed up, the pipe leaked a small amount of water only to be shut down by the Flologic system. Without the Flologic system, the house would have been flooded. Flologic should be installed in ALL houses.

Leak detection function works great. The control unit is very sensitive to AC power source input. When the generator is powering the Flologic the control unit signals AC power fail even though voltage is within standard tolerance. When the control unit is powered by a standard UPS the control unit signals AC power fail. Very annoying.
