FrigidaireReviews of frigidaire.com

Frigidaire, Very poor quality. Bought expensive frig, stove, and freezer all supposedly "commercial" grade written right on it. First thing is stove broke right away, next frig would not level out the screws that should do that broke, the frig also kept breaking shelves because they are very thin plastic, the ice maker would not stop crushing ice, then it stopped cooling, quit. The freezer keeps stopping with alarm going off.. All bought new... Went to dump and saw many many Frigidire products at dump to include some LG.

Used to a good product noe is junk with a mousey warranty they can't even handle their own have it farmed out

I bought the Frigidaire FFAD7033R1 dehumidifier from Amazon.ca for use in the basement. I set it at low fan speed. After using for 1-1/2 months, the low fan speed switched to high fan speed on its own and loss the fan speed control all together. I contacted Frigidaire for warranty claim. Frigidaire sent me a replacement dehumidifier. However, the new unit was dead on arrival. It would not run for more than 2 minutes before shutting off. The packaging was different from the original one sold by Amazon.ca, suggesting that the replacement was not a new replacement. I contacted Frigidaire again for warranty claim. This time the rep offered me a manufacturer rebate instead. That is Frigidaire would refund me the full value of the product, but not including the sales tax (HST) of 13% or $39.42. I asked them to send me a replacement so that I would not loose on the sales tax. I was told that they cannot send me one because I bought it through Amazon.ca. I told the rep that the first replacement was sent to me by Frigidaire using post/courier service! I was told that the rebate is the only offer. The purchase experience has been poor and lost $39.42 in the warranty claim process.

Frigidaire FGCD2444Sb dishwasher Bought this dishwasher in 2018. Had a lot of problem with this unit FGCD2444Sb . broken plastic ..leaky door... Water on the floor from this leaky door. Not recommended at all... Please do not buy Frigidaire Dishwasher

I purchased a dehumidifier in September 2011 that worked fine when I first got it. The following calendar year it also worked fine. However, the third calendar year problems started to occur. A small leak developed - water was on my basement floor. Then frost developed on the coils. Finally, water stopped collecting in the bucket even though the unit was turned on and it was running. When I took the unit to a appliance dealer to get it repaired, he said his store didn't repair dehumidifiers - it would cost less for Frigidaire to buy the unit back from me than to pay for the cost of parts and labor to get it fixed under the warranty. And that's exactly what happened- I contacted Frigidaire and they refunded the full purchase price. I was now left with a dehumidifier that was a piece of junk- only 20 months after I had purchased it. I had no other choice but to call the junkman and have him haul it away. The point I want to make is that I have bought other products made in China that have been of shoddy, poor quality (light bulbs, electric pencil sharpener, alarm clock) This dehumidifier that had a useful lifetime of less than 20 months was made in China. I would suggest that if your company really wants to maintain quality in your product, it might be a good idea to move operations from overseas back to the United States.

Limited and Unhelpful Website for Accessories I am looking to buy a griddle for my Frigidaire stovetop. They list multiple griddles on their website but give no info to confirm if they are compatible with their own stoves. I called to ask which griddle would work with my specific model stove (again Frigidaire accessory to go with a Frigidaire stove). The agent reviewed and confirmed one would. I ordered it. It does NOT fit. To return it I have to pay for the return shipping. I called in advance to avoid being in this situation. I now have to go out of pocket to ship back a 15 lb griddle because they are unable to "guarantee" that it will be compatible. The website provides very limited information, the griddle is expensive and the costumer service is unreliable. I called to give the specifics of my circumstance and was offered no help to remedy it and only heard the same company policy repeated over and over again.

I like to review companies after I have used their product for a long period of time! I purchased my Frigidaire Gallery Set (stove, Dishwasher, Refrigerator, and Above Range Microwave in November of 2010...They have been fantastic with no complaints! Truly, when an appliance company can make something last for 7-8 years in today's world, I feel this is an accomplishment and worth purchasing again!!
