My A/C drain plugged …
My A/C drain plugged and was leaking water into my furnace and hot water tank room. My Notion alerted me as soon as the sensor detected water. These rooms are not high traffic area, I could of had a big mess without being alerted. Instead a couple of towels and cleaned the drain, a lot less trouble. I Would recommend Notion for home owners, especially if you travel a lot or have pets.

The hardware is fantastic
The hardware is fantastic! I'd love to buy more but I doubt I will. The android app that went missing a couple months ago.. the lack of a developer API (that used to exist?), the dead links at doc's.getnotion, even just little things like you sending me this feedback page in Norwegian(?) While the request for feedback email was in English. I'm not putting one star because your core product is, again, fantastic but everything else has been sub par. Please bring back the API!

Hi Jason, Thank you so much for your review. I'm sorry that we have been unable to provide a good experience for you so far beyond your interactions with the hardware. For reference, our team has wanted to offer API access, unfortunately this is not something we have been able to support yet. I will be sure to forward your feedback to our product team to see if we can add that to our roadmap. If you have any other details to add, I would love to know how you would intend to take advantage of that API access? Separately, we are always looking to improve how we interact with our users. If you have a moment, please share any dead links that you have found and we will review those on our website. Best, Julian @ Notion

Hi Ken, Julian here from the team at Notion Support. I am writing to you to offer some troubleshooting assistance on the false alerts you mentioned in your review about Notion. When you get the chance, go ahead and try simply re-syncing the task to start. 1.From the home page of the mobile app, click on the task that needs to be resynced 2.Scroll to the bottom and click "Sync task," then follow the on-screen prompts If you continue to see false alerts after that, please send me a couple photos of where the sensor is located and I'll see what other troubleshooting steps I can offer.

Great System!
This system is great. It helps us to know when the doors are open and with kids and pets that’s a must! The magnets help the sensors to be so much more effective and not having false readings anymore! Love these.

Notion is a worthwhile monitoring system & is easy to set up
The system was relatively easy to set up. Also, adding functions to the various sensors is a good feature. I have checked the accuracy of the temperature sensing function, and it appears to be perfect. The other functions also seem to work well. I would recommend this system to other people.
