Dane did an excellent job of walking me through the update. The unit can be cumbersome to work with since is at ground level and heavy. The term recall was misleading as it suggests a replacement of the unit rather than an update.

I'd like to throw in a good mention for customer service agent helping me through the recall upgrade when I couldn't get it to work together we found all the possible glitches and he kept plugging along I just wish Customer service agents were as cordial as he was There you go Dane I was very happy until I got to this system of writing an attaboy What a joke Can't anything be simple anymore Other computers were supposed to make our life easier It's just more BS that complicates everything I guess I'm speaking about Trustpilot Just go back to the good old way of doing things Everybody talks about how great this is but I haven't seen any kind of stability Alright I'm done ranting

Vivian was great - patient, polite and knowledgeable, she kindly answered all my questions to help me replace my favorite torch lantern that I used almost daily for years which was discontinued, and the new version was of stock, so she answered all my questions re features and capacities of the current product choices and helped guide me to a product I can buy online that will serve me for now til the larger version is remade. I actually understand the products' workings now after speaking with her, that I did not know these previous years, so I am now a more informed user and I am a loyal supporter of this company's more eco values, as I am Green Certified business myself - so thank you again!

My Yeti 3000X developed an intermittent COLD error that prevents it from charging. I contacted Goal Zero on August 23 and, after all three resets, a firmware update and several diagnostic checks, the problem remained. The unit is out of warranty, and I made it clear that I was NOT asking for a free replacement. I was perfectly willing to pay for a repair. Customer support was extremely slow, often taking around a week or more to reply just to ask for another piece of information. After more than FIVE WEEKS, Goal Zero finally told me that they have no certified repair centre in Spain — OR ANYWHERE in Europe — and simply suggested contacting the shop where I bought it. They then closed the case. For such an expensive product, having no paid repair option in Europe is bad enough. Taking five weeks to tell a customer this makes the experience even worse. I wish I had known this before buying a Goal Zero product.

Ive been trying for several weeks now to get help with my goal zero 3000x. 1st cables went bad needed replaced; however, mine are in camper wall and would cost $$$$ to replace. I was sent $300. Then a recall that I didnt get. Then my goal zero quit charging. Support helped, then no response, then helped, then no response. Still waiting for help on why Link wont charge. This is over several weeks.

Customer service and support provided by Gabriela with the BioLite/Goal Zero Support team can only be described as outstanding. After two years of trouble-free performance our Yeti 500 Power Station suddenly failed to recharge. We reached out to the Support team and within one day began to receive timely, clear, concise and knowledgeable instructions regarding potential solutions intended to resolve the problem. Questions were anticipated and answered proactively. Ultimately the unit was replaced under warranty.
